Hmmm...this is all too confusing really. I wouldve that Obion would be ahead of Covington based on thier overall record first. O well...its dumb but it is what it is!

Im gonna promise you something there guy, if you try that feat, your probably gonna end up like T.0, hurt and heartbroken! Im sure you wouldnt be out there too long. As a matter of fact, Id personally love to see this happen. The fireworks would be entertaining to say the least! BTW troll, Im not tryin to be disrespectful towards D-burg at all. Im just saying that i would be shocked if they beat OC. It could happen. I was shocked that Covington did, but thats part of the game. I hear all this bout D-burgs awesome defense, Im sure they are very good! I just think the Rebel offense is gonna be the toughest D-burg has faced all year and will highlight any weaknesses the Trojan Defense has. Hope it is a very good game! GO REBELS!!

I think this will be another barn-burner!! Im just hoping the Rebels can come out on top in this one. I expect for the Defense to show up a lil more in this contest for Obion. If they play like they did against a very good Covington team, It might be a long night for the Rebel faithful! Everyone should come out to Rebel Field Thursday Night and check out this matchup between 2 very good ball clubs! OC wins 46-32. GO REBELS!!!!!!

I wish Obion could play Milan. Im curious as to who would win that game. I bet it would be a good one though. That being said, if Milan really does have a bad pass defense, OC could throw a bunch of points up quickly. But i digress, I just wanted to play the "what if?" game real fast. Goood job Bulldogs and I wouldnt mind seeing the Chargers and Rebels play down the road in the playoffs. Goodluck to both the Bulldogs and Chargers(unless they play OC) in the playoffs! GO REBELS!!

Oh and btw...the Rebels end the season 9-1 after taking out dyersburg in 2 more weeks. The game may be a good one, but Dyersburg is no Covington and i just dont see how Dyersburg can improve enough to beat a team that demolished them last season and is alot better themselves! Hope its a good and safe game, but i would be VERY shocked if D-burg could pull this one out. It is high school ball tho, gotta love it! GO REBELS!!

Your out of your mind if u think that buddy! These 2 teams are evenly matched and Obion could have easily put the game almost out of reach in the 1st half! Was you even at the game? Probably not...and if thats the case, hear say wont get ya far. The chargers are a good team, but i wont go as far as saying that they are hands down better than OC. They are the same caliber team.

Your an idiot! Im pretty sure i seen where you picked Obion to win! Thats neither here nor there. I was very impressed with Covington's running backs. #5 is really talented. These teams are evenly matched, and that game could have went either way. I was expecting a shootout and got it. Covington just made more stops. Obion could have had 2 more td's in the first half but stalled in the red zone. Parr had a horrible night and dropped a bunch of passes(1 for a td he tried to catch with 1 hand). He will bounce back tho. The covington td right before half really hurt. Central had an opportunity to really open the game up early and didnt capialize on the chances. Covington made them pay in the 2nd half. They run the football down the Rebels throat all night and OC just couldnt stop them. They have to get better on defense if they wanna make some noise in the playoffs. Hopefully Coach Jackson gets better quickly and can get his guys ready for the rest of the season and playoffs. By the way DHSTENNIS, i do think that the bye week was a factor in the rebels performance in this game(not to take anything away from the Chargers, they were awesome!) Just so you know i think the byes can hurt or help a team. Goodluck to the rebels the rest of the way and go make some noise in the playoffs! GO REBS!!!

I have a feeling Obion is about to make believers out of some of you guys and girls on here. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but i have watched the Rebels several times this year and they are what their record shows. They may have not played state ranked teams yet, but its pretty evident by watching them play that they have a special team this year. They gained alot of confidence and experience playing Sikeston and Cape Central last season. I beleive Covington and Dyersburg are both capable of beating the Rebels if the Rebs dont bring their A-game, but i think that Obion shows what they are made of and beats both schools. I expect a much closer and competitve couple games here at the end of the season and cant wait for the showdown Friday at Rebel Field! Go REBELS!!!

Ill have to agree with you. Ive certainly seen it happen before. Hopefully the rebels can carry thier momentum through nexxt weekend and into the game with the Covington. This team looks special, so Im not looking for a big let down. As far as the Obion fan that u were referencing talking about puttin a beating on Dyer Co, that wasnt me pal. However, that being said, I do think that would be a good game and that the rebels would win also. I think i seen in your post before where u made mention about OC not scheduling Milan. If im not mistakened, Coach Jackson tried to schedule Milan this year, but Union City somehow stopped that from happening. Not sure how, but i have heard Coach Jackson say that he was upset with the fact that Central didnt get to play Milan. Just sayin.

OC wins 40-14! Another very exciting and dominating game for the rebels. After a bye next week, they will clash with the Covington Chargers! Come out to Rebel field and watch these guys play. Hmmm...Wonder how many games you have watched when teams are coming of a bye. By most of ur post, I can tell you must know everything. Hate to burst your bubble, OCCHS(not OBCC..Obion is one word) will win this comfortably. SG has some talented players and I hope they do well in the future. That being said i think they may be a little overmatched. SG competes for a half but loses to Obion 43-21. GO REBS!!

Wow really this crap again! Please save it! Obion has never really had that great of a kicking game and have went for 2 everytime for many years, Even during the horrible years and no matter the score. Coach Jackson has the benefit of being able to jump out early and bring his subs in early to save his starters. O by the way, I need to know where u found your info. about Coach Jackson knowing the outcome of the game before it was played! Thats obsurd!! Im pretty positive that Obion hasnt played Montgomery Central many times, if any, and Obion was prepared for a competitve game from a opponent that they werent fimiliar with. Lay off guy!! All the nonsense complainig is what is ridiculous!

Ill take OC in this one. As far as the on-side kicks and 2pt. conversion references go, that is so ignorant that im gonna choose to avoid most of that. I will say however that people should gets all the facts in before people start hollaring BUSH LEAGUE and things of the such! Obion is finally having a successful year that they can be proud of, and it obviously isnt sitting to well with others.

Ledevin Fair for Obion County hands down! This kid is the real deal and he is very fun to watch! Cant wait to see how he does playing football on saturdays.
