I work in Gate City and from what I have heard from the students there is that they will drop off worse then south will be this year, and that it could be ugly for them this year.

From what I heard they are going to leave south as is and change rock springs to Sullivan south middle school. And won't change the name or mascot of south.

from what I heard a South might be the only county school safe, north is most defining closing and going to be added to south's population. I think south might be down from last year but last year was a top 5 in south's history so it will be hard to compare to that but they are still a playoff team and in a few years the upcoming freshmen will start making some noise.

Dylan Wieger has committed to ETSU to play football in the fall, he has all the making to be the starter, and be the first Buc QB since the program has been reborn.

Congrats West, I know everyone in Kingsport was rooting for you guys!

I wish we could replace Grainger or Seymour with Elizabethton.

They should of put the South Greenevillle game on October 30 instead of the 9th. But I guess the winner could get better sales on their conference championship shirts and hats. Haha

Wieger won con. POY, Strickler Def. poy, Haynie won coach of the year. With 10 players from south grabbing all-conference honors.

I assume south will with Daniel Boone, Tennessee High, and Gate City, VA as their non conference schedule. With Gate City being the week of September 11th like always. South is gate city's best gate sells every year and Gate City is one of south's best as well.

I would say that Dylan Wieger snd Ethan Thomas will be playing in a midmajor school

Colonial heights went undefeated this year under new head coach Garvin ,they averaged in the 40s and allowing only in the teens, qb is small but has to tightends over 6 ft. If they stay together they will be great.

South has an incredible freshman class coming in too. Should be a great match up in a few years

Off topic: I have a good idea for the new conference name. Since in will most likely be the Sullivan, Hawkins, Greene, Grainger, and maybe the Sevier and Blount counties with Seymour. I think a good name would be The State of Franklin Conference. Because all the counties and some parts of Grainger were part of the old state of Franklin, right after the Revolution war. What do you guys think of the name idea?
