I think he needs a least a few carries to test out the toe and get back into the full swing of things. I wouldnt think there is a need for him to play at all in the second half.

Best football in the state. No doubt about it. 5 teams qualifying from the same district. Down to the last week to determine what place 4 of the 5 are in, you can't beat that for competition. The game film that was linked from here to you tube showed minimal subbing by Franklin. With the exception of one or two players, the starters looked to be on the field when Centennia scored.

Overton worries more about its band than its football team. Between that and the completely different student body from even as few as 3-5 years ago, Overton is going down the drain. They did start off strong this year. To get beaten by East Lit. is definitely a head scratcher.

Riverdale uses this as a tune up for the playoffs. Starters stay in until the game is decided. Riverdale wins by 3 scores.

Word is that their coach is out. I've got a couple of calls out that I'm waiting to hear back on. I'm thinking that he is done at RHS after the season is over. I wouldnt think any coach would leave by choice before the season is over, especially if they want a chance to coach again somewhere else.

Rumor in Rutherford county is that the Ravenwood head coach either turned in his resignation or was handed his walking papers. Any truth to that? Anyone have any details?

Indy as the best kicker in the state. If it comes down to field goals, Indy wins. I'm a SHS fan and have to give the nod to Idny on this one. However, Indy has had a much easier schedule that may hurt them in experience.

Blackman wins this one, but it could be a close one. Brentwood is better than most think right now and the experience all their yourng players have gained will make a difference. The real interesting matchup in Williamson will be the Brentwood-Franklin game. I'm putting early odds on Brentwood.
