Good Post. Every game is about match ups. How is Tyner's O-Line and passing game?

The Lynchburg Lemonade will get "Pirate Ruled" in this one. I might actually go to this game since we got put out by a swarm of Bees last week.

I have not seen Tyner (only on film). But being from the Chatt area I am familiar with them. After being at Upperman Friday night I can say this. Upperman's QB is very good but not unstoppable. Uppermans D will have trouble. I guarantee you that. I am picking Tyner by 14

To answer your question about getting mercy ruled. No I don't like it a'tall.

No disrespect to DCTiger or Ambassador but IMO there will not be a change. At least not from what I am hearing. I have that from a very reliable source. I could be wrong and if I am I will be the first one to admit I was.

To address your first statement. I might give you Silverdale. But not so sure they would beat Marion. Well as a Grundy Nation IMO We have to just continue to build on what we already have. As a whole we are a young football team. It will sure hurt next year not having #1 running the ball. But we do have some talented young kids that are coming up. QB will only be a Junior and #8 at WR.....well I'd put him up against almost anyone out there. Look for #54 to be a monster on Defense next year. I think we do have the potential to be better next year. As for this year. Give me some time to think about it. It was a long night last night. I didn't get home until after 1:00 and my brain is not functioning properly right now.

If Upperman played our schedule, I would see them 5-5 at best with loses to: Marion 9-2 South Pitt 9-1 Silverdale 10-1 Signal 8-3 ND 8-3 Just my opinion. With that being said Grundy Fans. Did we not beat everyone we were supposed to beat this year? Other than Sequatchie? All you folks that holler we have more talent than these teams I just listed are plum loco. WE do have talent at Grundy. I am not saying we don't. But so do the teams that we play. Ranked 8th in strength of schedule in our Division. I have been saying this all year but most (not all) of you want to see it. It's not like the teams we lost to this year are cupcakes!!! Combined record of the teams that have beaten us this year is 60-16. You do the math.

Thanks for the update. I was worried about that young man. It looked serious. I am glad he is ok.

Proud of our boys last night. Yes the final score was a "mercy rule" score but they got a cheap one at the end of the game. Mercy rule went into effect early in the second half but our boys kept fighting and overcame it and in my opinion played well in the second half. If we could have given our QB more time to throw the ball, it would have been closer. Congrats to Upperman on a great season so far. QB is a player no doubt. Not sure the Bees will have the defense to keep it going deep into the playoffs.

It's really hard to say. At times we travel well. I think it all depends on the location. Upperman is about a 1 hr 30 min drive from the mountain. We traveled well to last years playoff game at Cheatham Co. which was a longer drive. I am hoping to see us pack the stands, but with our season like it's been I am just not sure. I know I will be there.
