My bad let me slow it down for you..gets all you guys (private schools) in one group (division) so you can go up and down all you want (DI, DII) If you were that good why didn't you go up instead of down (to AAA instead of down to A)...must have had a bad year recruiting.

I agree. Forrest and Community I hear should be the top teams barring any injuries. Community pitching staff has been their rotation now for 3 years I think minus Grissom and they had some nice additions I hear. Forrest has a lot of talent and they play hard every game. Glad these two play at the end. MTCS for sure has some talented pitchers, Fayetteville will be better, Huntland may be the surprise. Foster is one of the best young pitchers in the league. Moore I hear is a little down but still has some good arms and who knows what Eagleville will have from year to year but I am sure they will be competitive. Should be a fun year.

Start Saturday for boys. 3 games I believe starting at 4 or 4:30. Don't believe the favorite is Eagleville. There are about 4 teams that have a shot to win it. Community is undefeated at home this year in the district, MTCS is very good and Fayetteville and Forrest are very capable of winning it all.

They have locked up 1 seed for tournament but if Community wins they are co-district champs if this is the tie breaker scenario.

MTCS didn't clinch last night. Game Friday night is for district championship at Community.

Last week of season and all seeding for tournament is still undecided. Should be a fun week of basketball.

Yea the poll means nothing. Just who has most wins. They do not take into account who you beat to get those wins. Several teams in top 10 I am sure have a weak schedule and some teams who are left off who are way better but may have 6 or 7 losses. Cream always rises to top.

9A 1. Forrest 2. Community 3. Eagleville 4. Huntland 5. Middle Tn 6. Moore 7. Fayetteville Forrest and Community have the best overall teams I think with their pitching staffs but there are some really good teams in this district. Huntland could be the surprise team this year.

Forrest at Community tonight is a big game for both. Forrest is playing much better and has some good talent and play hard all the time. For sure a team you don't wanna play in the tournament.

Big game tonight with Fayetteville at MTCS. This game should be very competitive and go along way towards the outcome of the regular season standings.

Fayetteville is for sure very talented and could possibly win some games in post season especially next year but I would have to disagree they are not the team to beat based on what I saw Friday night. There are 4 teams at top that can win it and Fayetteville is one of them for sure.

Sure was! That win really makes things interesting the rest of the way. Big games Friday and Saturday of this week as Fayetteville travels to Community Friday and MTCS goes to Forrest Saturday. Tournament should be really fun this year!

I hear you so glad football is back and I don't know about everyone else but the weather here has been true mid-season football weather so we should at least have some good football weather. We are very young in some areas as well I believe. If I remember right we had quite a few seniors that contributed and did a pretty good job so it may be tough early for the Vikings. Last season the Vikings were a lot of fun to watch on offense and the defense got better as the season went along. Our wins and loses truly didn't reflect just how much better the program has gotten over the years. A few years ago most of the games we played weren't very competitive but now it seems we are at least in a lot of games up into the 4th quarter which is all you can ask. Hope you guys bring a big crowd and let's enjoy watching some football. Be careful heading to Unionville!

How is Sequatchie? I know they are always competitive and well coached and I am sure this year will be no different.

Why is Shelbyville so down?

Community beats Moore County 5-0 behind a good pitching performance by Quinn Frost and some timely hitting. Moore made a few errors which lead to some early runs but Community made some solid defensive plays that kept Moore off the board. Moore is a very good baseball team and will only get better. 9A should be a lot of fun this year.

Congrats to Moore Co. on a good win and a great pitching performance. I think there was only 4 total hits in the game. Moore County took advantage of a walk and had timely hitting. It was a well played game. Community put the ball in play but Moore County made some good defensive plays. Both teams played with class and sportsmanship. Should be another good one today as Community will probably throw their number one today and Moore Co. is always tough at home. Congrats to Huntland on their win as well and a good start for MTCS. Cascade will be a lot better at the end of the year. I think it's a year where everyone has a good shot to win it.

Moore County probably wins as Community just coming out of basketball mode so I am sure it will take a while to get to playing well. Plus Moore County has a very solid group this year.

Community (15-17) at Mt. Pleasant (24-3?) These teams played back in December with Community holding a 10 point lead at half then Mt. Pleasant fighting back and made free throws down the stretch to win by 7. Both teams are a lot different now and both playing very well.

Nice win by the Community Vikings. They made a lot of big plays and now are starting to make their free throws! Good luck to the other teams tomorrow night. Nashville Christian has nothing to be ashamed of they played very hard tonight.

Best all around team?? You got swept by Huntland!
