I'm not even sure if it is part of th Hoopfest. It might be since there in town they scheduled it. If it is they haven't advertised it with all the other hoopfest games. Should be a good one though.

I take that last reply back. According to Sunrise's schedule they play White Station @ White Station tonight @ 7:30. That's the first I've heard about it though.

White Station does not play Sun Rise. Sunrise plays Arlington Country Day at 2 then White Station plays Hamilton afterwards. Both games Saturday at Dyer County and both will be on ESPNU.

Dyer County has the highest points per game average in the state. Yesterday was just a bad example for all the people who don't see them regularly. They beat Harrisburg Illinois who went on to win the 2A Illinois state championship with a record of 33-1. They will play better Friday. They had 2 weeks off since no substate game. Just a little rusty.

Southwind will win by double digits. Just to much talent.

I think Dyer County will use their bench a lot. Wear Hillsboro down then take over the game after halftime.

Dyer County played Southwind last season in the championship game of a Christmas tournament in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. DC led the whole game til the last 5 minutes then Southwind took the game by 5 points.

Abosulety Iamahoops fan. Them losing what would have been their 7th straight district title really set a fire under them.

I'd love to see a Dyer County-Southwind final.
