Lets focus on Metro as a whole isnt this A metro thread not Bash PC thread. With that being said. How are the playoffs looking for all metro teams that will qualify?? CR PC SHS MHS OHS... Any more making it in?

Enough with the lack of respect for the program that Brunetti has going.i have been a brunetti fan since my nephew played for him in 2008. He was not an all amercican or d1 prospect but was treated with the same respect as the other more talented kids. Anyway... to sit on a message board and discredit what he and that staff are doing is ridiculous to say the least. Some post are down right spiteful and comes off as extreme jealousy. Any coach that does as much as he does for those kids deserves respect. Look at the numbers(graduation and college players). They speak volumes. And lets stop beating thr dead horse about the two loses is that all we can harp on over and over again? Both teams are ranked #1 and #3 in the state and highly ranked in the country if im not mistaken. None of the teams before mentioned would even attempt to line up and take on an MBA or KC until they do... stop with the hypothetical victories. But what i do know about brunetti is that he will schedule competition no matter who it is. Just check the schedules over the years. Facts are facts. One thing i do know is they have lined up with 5 to 6 sophmores starters on the field on offense alone. With only 6-7 seniors playing quality minutes. Yes even against MBA after losing there All state linebacker for the season. So be careful who and what you call yourself bashing or pointing out. Where you see weakness some will see strengths. Goodluck to all metro as they go into the playoffs. 3A 4A 5A and 6A. Bring home some hardware. (ENUFF WITH THE HATE).

At the time games played: Hillsboro ranked #4 in 5A Liberty Tech ranked #2 in 3A (49-14) Maplwood ranked 8th in 4A (52-7) not impressive? Just stop. Lets not mention CPA 41-0. Same team stratford barely beat 7-6... but good luck to you guys before comparisons make it deep in playoffs and then start beating your chest.

For those that are not extremely bias and/or extremely excited about stratford being relevant again. It dont take many more facts to end this convo. Stratford is having a great season. Those coaches are doing a great job with those kids. But to put them in the same category as a PC is a reach. Those programs are on two totally different levels. I commend both staffs but stop with the comparisons. To compare the two at this point looks like an attempt to discredit the work that PC is doing. They have lost to 2 powerhouse Privates but also beat some top ranks also i.e Maplewood,CPA Liberty Tech. Again kudos to both programs and what they are doing respectively in there Classes. 3A and 4A. Maybe along with hillsboro or CRidge(5A) 3 can be in memphis after thanksgiving. Go Metro Nashville Football!!!

For board purposes...what two teams beat pearl cohn in the last 9 games??? Where are they ranked in the state? What would any other metro schools do in those games? Better yet why no other metro schools play those type games?

Clarification! if played 2day... IMO

CRidge is the only Metro team that could come within 2TDs of PC. According to various post stratford is not very disciplined ask Maplewood what happens to an undisciplined team against PC.
