Hey, they is a lot of football to be played between now and then and neither team is guaranteed to be in the ship. I will say our boys relish the thought of playing them, but we playing one game at a time!!!

Not likely that Dresden will represent the West. No disrespect intended but they either were not very good or our mustangs played that well! Actually we played that good!!! Wake up 1A Huntingdon I'd clicking on all cylinders!! Don't believe me, ask Dresden!! That was a monkey stomping right there on the # 1 team in 2A!

Yep!! He's our towns window licker!! Like I said, every town has one. Ours just happens to have Internet access lol praying for a injury free game but also that those boys in my den right now playing NCCAA football on Xbox and screaming put the hammer down on Dresden!! Lol

Every town has one and well.... Guess this idiot is ours !!! I assure you the rest of us dont necessarily think like him!! Yes we want WC again but any team and lose on any given night and he's letting his alligator mouth override his blue bird arse!!!! I appreciate the dedication to our team dude but need to chill on the predictions a little. We ain't even for out of regular season unscathed so losing another one can happen!! Our team plays ONE game at a time! Dresden is the only game we are worried about right now.

I tell you what, if we make the championship game and you choose to come to that game, look me up and I will introduce you to a few of Huntingdons fine young football players and you tell them they should be scared! I can guarantee you my son won't be one that's scared!! I'm just praying that there's no injuries to any of the teams and I would LOVE to see Gordy vs Huntingdon !!! Go ahead and admit it you would too' you have no idea how good any team from the west is just as I don't know about the east. Only way to find out is to make it to the big show!! Easy there partner!! Although I'm with ya on part of this I think your a bit off on part of it as well!! We ain't won squat yet!! Do I think we can or will win? Absolutely !! But this is high school football and anything can happen ( ie west Carroll loss) !! Dresden is a very good football team and I don't see a blowout by any means!! Can it happen? Yea! Can happen either way though!! We don't only need our team to step up we also need our coaching staff to step up and make the right calls for 4 quarters!! One last note, I do want Dresden to be 100% !! I want to get a good measure for how well we are or aren't playing right now. Basically Dresden is a measuring stick for us right now and will help us get a better feel for how we will play in week 11! Good luck to both teams and pray for no injuries!!

I get that better than you think. West Carroll last year for instance. But what good does it do to keep moaning and groaning about it? Heck last years title game for 1A was at Paul Ward Stadium the way I see it but doesn't change a thing. I get that SP vs Gordy would be better suited for a Semi game but you play where the bracket falls. You want to play the best so that no one can point fingers and say it was GIVEN to you right? Then strap up and play whomever you have on schedule week to week. And if your the best you will be there in the end. If not? Well you start building for next year!

Well we certainly ain't scared to come to Gordy I assure you. There's not one kid on Huntingdons team that doesn't believe they can go toe to toe with any school in their classification. I have said many times before, strap on those helmets, line it up and play the game. Let the real champ be the team standing at the end. No doubt Gordy may have a real nice football team. But in the words of Si Robertson "hey" we got a good team too Jack! Lol lets getter done!!

Yep, Huntingdon had all that last year and got bumped. Could happen at any time in high school football. That's why they have the playoffs my friend. If it was so cut and dry that Gordonsville wins it all then it wouldn't be any fun. We over here in west tenn prefer to line up and see what they have vs just give up. Call it what you will but I believe my Stangs have just as good a shot as anyone, including S Pitt and Gordy! Just sayin....

Yep your right we were the odds end favorite to win it all and we laid an egg. But had either Wayne County or Huntingdon been in 2A Dresden would not have made it to the dance because both were better than Dresden. Bottom line is that on any given year any class A school that makes it to the championship game could give any 2A school all they wanted and then some. Talent level usually isn't that different between the two.

No body likes us, we can't get any respect, we win yet are still underdogs yadda yadda yadda!! Geeze man, strap on the helmets, play your games, and win consistently year in and year out and respect will follow. Coming on this board and singing the blues will do nothing but bring your stock down. Respect is earned, and it takes more than a couple of years. Those rankings don't mean squat, simply win your games and earn the respect you so obviously desire!! I think Friday night Dresden might get a lesson in respect. There's a reason people are picking Huntingdon to win, it's called respect! People know that year in year out we are hard to beat and especially at home. Dude now how do you figure your team is the underdog? Your the #2 ranked team in 2A, your team is 9-0 and your last years state runner up. If anyone is the underdog it's Huntingdon! Yes some people are picking us to win but that certainly doesn't mean your team is the underdog. As for us playing in 2a? We ain't no stranger to that division, we won our championship and our silver in that division and to be quite honest we might could have won it all last year in that division. We did spank y'all and you were in the title game.

Did the math on this one and it says Huntingdon should win by 17 pts. Yes we have given up some points and most of them were to teams that throw the ball. Running on Huntingdon is very tough as I think most teams we have played will tell you. Should be a interesting game!

You are quite right my friend and it appears Huntingdon will be in quad 3. Believe me, after the debockle we got thrown into last year we will openly embrace it this year but for a very different reason. We relish the idea of possibly meeting West Carroll in the semi's and squashing their hopes of a title game. Lol call it what you will but we have been listening to the crap about losing to them until we are sick! Those hosers actually still have the score up on their board and the game was 4 weeks ago. Lol

This will be the BEST defense the Lions have seen this year. Don't wanna hear anything bout West Carroll, yes they beat us but we are eagerly hoping to see that group again ! This will definitely be a must see game for everyone!!

Now I don't remember all this drama last year when they dropped a 9-1 perry county a 10-0 Wayne county and 10-0 Huntingdon all in the same quad. Bottom line you gotta strap up and play the game. The best team will come out on top. I also seriously think that the easy is underestimating the West this year. Huntingdon and West Carroll are very good football teams and you will play one of them in the championship game. Jmo

Ok here's my 2 cents on the game. 1st congrats Milan on your win. Truth is we were wayyyyy to one dimensional! Gotta find a way to get others involved. With that having been said our offensive line was outstanding !!! Milan has a really fast defense and we moved the ball effectively on the ground. Our passing game is poor at best! We need to figure something out and quick! Milan on the other hand is also very one diminsional. I say this because without Coleman your just not gonna win a championship. He is a beast for sure and without him on the field Milan wasn't the same team. Big purp you can rip me if ya want, y'all won no doubt but your a AAA school who only beat Huntingdon a class A school by 7 points and we had our chances to win it ! I do wish Milan the best of luck and hope Coleman's ankle heals quickly, you need him to make any kinda run in the playoffs.
