I'm not sure that's valid, or all of the private schools would have been in division II sooner. Catholic and Grace from Knoxville probably brought 100 fans combined to the state tournament. If there was an agenda, Haywood would have gotten all the calls, as they brought probably the biggest crowd that I witnessed.

Agreed. I watched a lot of games live this week and noticed too many travel and charge calls. I'm hoping next season, the game is more fluid in the state of Tennessee during the State Tournament.

He probably was trying to "ice" the shooter. They were up 3 at that point. If he missed, the final 3pter would have tied it. It was a chance to do that.

The longer this game stays close, the better the chance Clay wins.

I still believe defense wins championships and if Harriman goes cold shooting (and continues to take lower percentage shots like they have during the tournament) and Clay gets up 6-7 points early, CC just might change up the tempo by slowing the game down to eat clock. I believe people will be surprised when the final score is low.

I was really impressed with #1 (Joe, I believe). He has super quick hands. He is very quick as well. Seemed like he was on fast break after fast break. I was surprised he didn't have any assists tonight.

I should have searched before I started a new thread. However, I'm not saying this to be mean, but sometimes I wander if the game is to fast for some officials, especially the travelling calls. How many times do they call traveling as the player is about to make a move to the basket from either side of the wings. The charges have been crazy. It appears that a player only has to graze the defender as they are going to their side to be called. It has been frustrating to watch.

I believe that is what makes Clay stronger this year. It is solely Key's team. The supporting cast are fundamental on what they do.

I have been at the State Tournament all week and I can't help notice all of the travel and charge calls. I would say that 60% of those calls should not been made. Has anyone else noticed this?

I believe it is CC year to win the State Championship. I going to go with CC by 7-9 points.

ME - 78 OR - 67 Game should be exciting at times with ME pulling away. However, I would like to see OR pull out the win to really mix things up this state tournament.
