People need to realize that girl's basketball is not life or death; however it is very important, and we take pride in our daughter's accomplishments, but to let it get out of hand is crazy and stupid. We watch them play to enjoy ourselves and to let them enjoy themselves and maybe gain a sense of accomplishment by doing something they love. Conchita Johnson is a prime example of someone who has displayed class and respect for herself and other teams. I have never seen her act inappropriately, and to say something bad about her gives me the hint that either you are a liar or someone who wants to start trouble. Im behind PF on this. So grow up and think about what you're posting before you hurt someone's feelings. This site is for grown-ups.

I have also seen many of the girls games at the district tournament. In my opinion Coach Johnson acted appropriately and did nothing to disgrace her team, however there are many classless ball players who are not disciplined by their coaches when acting as if to embaress themselves by cheering against another team. There have been girls from Chuckey Doak who have cheered and taunted a team from their home county and I will not mention who, but acted very immature last year. This year I have not came across it.

Sometimes in high school ball, girls get burnt out. So during college they only play for the ride. Many scouts look at this when considering how much they can contribute during their collegiant experience. You don't want to present yourself as someone who is just trying to survive high school, if you do it can hurt your chances. Play like you enjoy what you're doing.

If my sources are right, I believe Holly Hudson is considering playing at Tusculum College in Greeneville. If she does she will be playing with some girls from South Greene. Does anyone know if she has made a decision on where she is going to go yet?

I guarentee Mt. Juliet scores over 100. They absolutely murdered them the first time didn't they? and they called the press off the first quarter that they played. I'm not exactly sure but I think was against White House. No contest go Mt. Juliet! thumb

i thought that simmons was a senior? Parkey is pretty good for a sophomore, but doesn't she have mono right now, and is unable to play for the rest of the year.

id like to see cheatham county in the state tournament playing walker valley. they both are AA aren't they?

mt juliet will wipe the floor with smyrna. Who cares if they have been playing worse than usual. they will win this game because they are winners and no one plays more like a team than they do. it doesn't matter if one person has a bad night. mj by 15!

south greene girls lost by at least 15. both waddell twins were benched for unknown reasons. this gives hope to rutledge later on in the year.
