Like I said 3 weeks ago.....Boyd will finish at 3-7. No worries, HS football is a game of cycles (unless you are Ensworth and just buy your way to a winner every year). It's a mix of two chemicals: 1.)The players that come through the cycles and 2.)Your coaching staff. That's it.

Why even play this game? I mean really, what is the point? Trousdale wins big, gets a first round bye, wins big in the Quarterfinals then starts playing basketball the day after the semis!

This will be Boyd's last win of the season. Hope they enjoy it. Thought they would go back and win it all after FC went D2 and got out of their way.

They for sure win next week at Cooper Basin. I would say maybe a 40% chance that they win against Sequatchie. They will have home field advantage against Silverdale and BB has one of the best home fields I have ever been to BUT it won't be enough to get out alive. Best possible record is 4-6 but I am still sticking with 3-7.

Hate to say it but it looks like Boyd will end their season with a 3-7 record. So wanted to see the Bucs take it home this year but looks like it's rebuilding time. Hope they enjoy next weeks win at winless Cooper Basin. It'll be the Buc's last win for a long time.

Word on the street is that he is good to go for this one. Could possibly be a preview of the State Championship. I look for Webb to strongly win this one but the next time they face each other, when its all on the line, could be a different result.

The game will be won and lost in the trenches. Doesn't matter if AJ Long plays or not. Doesn't matter all this trash talking about what FC is going to do to TC or what TC is going to do to FC. Doesn't matter who thinks Creasy is better or McNeal. The team with the better trench wins easily. FC walked away easily with 2 Championships the past two years because of maybe one of the best trenches in 2A high school ball. Glad to see the rivalry continue!
