actually mayhall clocked a 4.5 40 at the rivals combine. Also, he is much more notorious for his quickness and ability to make tacklers miss; last time I checked the fastest 40 doesn't win football games. But thanks for letting everyone know how great a scout you apparently were. I must say I would be impressed if I didn't know anything about football

so you're telling me that despite an SEC school wanting Mayhall to come play for them, that he wouldn't even start at on a high school football team in Tennessee?

I beg to differ. The worst span in usj football history was 2005-2007 then usj went 9-2 in 2008, losing to milan 35-42 in usj's worst year in the past 4 years and milan's best year in the past 4 years.

Congleton definitely deserved it IMO. Hensley had a good year and is a great athlete but I have to give props to Congleton. Brandon Hill is not a very good high school lineman, and gets way to much hype IMO. He is a big-sized guy with a lot of raw potential but I don't think he was ahead of Hensley or Congleton at all as a high school player.

Apparently the spelling/grammar usage section of the entrance exam isn't very rigorous. You mean emphasis (emphases is the plural form.) Also hence would be the correct word, not hints.

I say USJ pulls it out 42-21. It could be closer though if USJ's defense does not tackle. There's no stopping USJ's offense though.

Mayhall definitely deserved it for backs IMO. He had 41 touchdowns this year, to Blance's 20. He had over 1000 recieving yards and close to 500 rushing yards, set the state record for most receptions in one game vs. ECS (21), and set the state record for most receptions in one season (99). I think the stats are pretty deserving of Mr. Football. I'm not trying to take away from Blance and his remarkable career that he had, but I just think Mayhall was a better player this year. Mayhall also started every game on defense and made several big-time plays on the defensive side, as apposed to Blance just playing on offense. Mayhall is the more complete back (QB's,RB's,WR's,DB's) than Blance because he succeeded in 3 different positions (WR, RB, and FS) as opposed to Blance's one primary position. Blance is no doubt a great player, but Mayhall deserved this IMO. No big deal though, Mayhall would rather get a ring than Mr. Football. Happy for Blance despite my opinion. He had a great career.

I don't see the bruins overlooking this game...they know what it's like to get this far to lose. I think those USJ seniors go out and lead them to their first state championship, though it won't be a blowout like everyone expects. St. George's will bring their best game of the year, but they just can't keep up with USJ's offense
