Amazing how so many SP people are even concerned about a debate over crap in the past. Who gives a rats rear if anyone has run a 4.3?You guys never stop living the dream. Why are you even on a MC thread debating. Comical to say the least.

Oak Ridge vs Blackman ** STATE CHAMPIONSHIP**

Why don't you personally address it to T$$AA? So many quackers and not enough attackers. Go see Gene in Lebannon. I'm not disagreeing but everyone complains and does nothing. -

Well, obvious the refs always cost the losers the games. Quit bashing and start reffing. Or take your complaints to the top of TSSAA. Go in person. That would work better. I disagree with a lot you are saying. However, the T$$AA political garbage is a complete travesty. Why else would they start the events with AAA. They are all about the money. -
Blackman has a chance. Sneaky good.

I personally don't find it hard to make the call. I definitely don't agree with his philosophy. Officials , in my opinion, that have a difficult time with it is because they are not officiating the defense. If you officiate the defense it's not difficult. Again, just my opinion. That's why fans have such a hard time because they are watching the ball handler and not the defensive guy. It's only natural to watch the ball. Good officials train themselves to referee the defense. Just an opinion from someone that's worked all levels other than Pro. Don't get me started on that. -

Oh I forgot to tell you I am an 18 yr active official and have worked several state tournaments . I guess you can say I have some expertise. -

What game were you watching him play? I saw several more fouls on him that were passed on by the officials probably to keep him in the game. He plays lazy and wreck less. I was there and watched the game 2 additional times. Those refs were very good. I am a sports writer and have seen bad officiating trust me. Don't hang his play on the refs for bad calls. -
The Ram Train better hope the draw opposite of CPA. Watched them live tonight. Not sure I've seen anything close to them this year in the Tri State region. Studs across the lineup.

I sat and listened to some foul mouths tonight. Complaining and crying about the refs, throwing things. I thought the refs did a good job. They may have missed some but they all do. Obviously the scoreboard told the story for the night. -
CPA is great. I would give Tyner a slim chance but they have way too much. Witnessed it firsthand court side.

Well I'm in Nashville at CPA court side. Sold out crowd and televised game. I will give updates upon completion of the game.
-
Boyd won. Did Tyner?

I have watched many games from the side line. Bucs, you better strap it on tight. -
Rogers, Rose and Wadley.

I'm not sure what he meant but what I saw between two dominant teams last night means that it's gonna be very very hard to beat these two. I've seen Stone. Not bad but not Stellar. Doesn't matter to me either way. But whow those MBoro goblins were good for both sides.

I'm at a gym somewhere every Tuesday and Friday night. I've witnessed all these teams. Great job 3A but I believe you will both hang up the high tops Saturday night. VB has a slight chance at an upset. I've seen them play several times this year. Up and down a lot of the time. CSAS is very young and will instantaneously be overwhelmed. I believe JC or CR will be your state champion. I've been from Bristol to Memphis and they are my picks for single A.

I was court side last night at Siegel HS. All I can say is that Walker Valley and Stone Memorial better drink jet fuel and eat their wheaties. I fully expect both Blackman and Siegel to be in the Boro.

I just think Rogers is a good coach. Maybe he stays at Central. I just believe for the long haul he might consider it. If not no biggie but that would be pretty nice job. He has built a pretty good resume. Just a thought.
-
Good call about McCallie but I believe Shulman has that in the bag. He has a kid that goes to school there and was hired last week for some athletic administrative position. My guess won't be long before he's on the hardwood sideline.
-
Well I was watching the game tonight at Seagull in Murfreesboro court side. Then Observed the Blackman game following it on the first row. Those boys can play ball. Don't think Cleveland or Walker Valley can play with them. It's my opinion. Several coaches will apply for EH. Wadley is gone from McCallie. I'm sure they will go after Cole Rose at Boyd. Don't be surprised if Rick at Central is entertained. That's a sweet job and opportunity. One of the beat in town. I still believe Cherne should have gotten it but small town politics play into it. Why would you give an elite job to someone with no proven record at a AAA school that is filled with athletes.
