Prayers for the young man and his family.

Any one know the jamboree schedule ?

MJ's two tackles have the size to be very successful; but the Bears will need them to dominate. I believe both were selected as preseason all state last year as juniors. I hope they have more of a mean streak.

Typical spring scrimmage for MJ. They like the 10-12 play series were offense keeps ball even if they turn ball over or don't pick up a first down within 4 plays. Any idea who scrimmages are against this summer?

Funny, cant seem to get a report about the MJ / Siegel scrimmage.

Dont have to run a 4.3 forty to be an athlete. There all kinds of athletes. It is up to the coaches to find out and utlize a young man's talent at what position fits the team the best.

Looking forward to Mt Juliet and Gallatin and then the Bears vs Cane Ridge. Two tough games to start the schedule for MJ and then follow those up with Ravenwood after Cane Ridge. At least the Bears have these three games at home. Wish they would put 5A and 6A together.

Goldenbears; how did the bears look in the Black and Gold game go last night. Any standouts?

I have heard talk that there are some that think they will be a team that is a strong contender for region 3. Blackman vs Oakland should be a classic this year. Who are the surprise teams to look out for in the Boro?

Looking forward to hearing how the scrimmage with Wilson Central goes this week. Sounds like the Blaze will be very good this year.

Looking forward to hearing how the Bears look vs Segal on Friday. I sont think they will have any problems with them. Should set the tone for summer workouts.

Just saw on MJ website scrimmage with Maplewood has been changed to a Black and Gold game. Starts at 4.

Any idea who Wilson central will be scrimmaging this spring?

Taylor is a young lady that is a manager for the Mt Juliet football team. She lost her mom this past week; in what was supposed to be an exciting time for her getting ready for her prom this past weekend. The funeral was today. It is my understanding that she had already lost her dad. I don't know any details of what happened or any more than I just wrote. My thoughts and prayers are with Taylor. I pray that God watches over and guides her to live her life as her mom would want her to. Thanks to all of the Bears for being there for her and being her family.

I haven't heard of any. I know Coach White would make a great Head Coach for someone. Central seems to be pretty stable with coaching staff. Not sure if Eddings is interested in a HC position. Both are excellent coaches and have great relationships with the young men.

Any coaching changes at Central?

A great way to start the season with a big rivalry game. What do the Wave have coming back. Talk seems to be about Hillsboro, Cane Ridge, H'ville and not much about Gallatin.

Ha ! That game will set the tone for the season for both MJ and Gallatin.

What are your predictions for this year? Do you see the Bears being 8-2 or better?

Noway ; Even though things are very quiet with the Bears; there are very high expectations. Bears should be really good this year. A lot of talent in the skill positions; especially at QB. I think TE will be a major weapon with his size and skill unless he has been moved to a different position. Key for Bears will be O line. They have great size. I think the only thing they will lack is exceptional speed like 2012 team had. Hated to see Coach McKee leave; but glad to see Coach Turch back. D line will be a strength. Looking forward to watching them play.
