I was very impressed with the post game sportsmanship that I saw Dresden players give to Riverside Player #6. It was nice to see some compassion from these young men. Panthers hold your head up high!

There is not excuse for Technicals or Intentionals on either team. If you are going to be a exceptional player you have to play with discipline on the mental side also. Whatever happened to agitate you is part of the mental aspect of the game. You have to be able to play physically and mentally. NO EXCUSES! Riverside was ahead by 10 when Riverside was called for an intentional foul. Then the game got really close, so I think the foul changed the whole momentum of the game. Tubbs is just a sophomore, so get ready to see him a lot in the next 3 yrs. I enjoy your point of view about the game. Hope the next one is just as good.

Riverside is 6-0 right now, they were not even thought about pre-season. We have got some really solid players and some freshman that will make you see why we are up there in the best of the teams. You will have a chance to see for your self when the Panthers come to TCA and Madison. You will know who Tubbs is after the first few plays, and be awed when freshman Singleton comes on the court. ENJOY!!!

I was there and saw the game first hand. What a game it was, just kind of disheartening for me to see the a technical and two intentional fouls called. #5 for the Lions was unstoppable, Brandon Tubbs for Riverside is the "go 2 man", he brought it!!!!!! Can't wait to see Camden come to Riverside for a matchup.

RIVERSIDE has more thatn two: M. Mitchell, B. Clifft, C. Davenport, D.Brasher. S. Garrett all returning SENIORS.....along with junior D. McElrath returning this season.

What about Demieka Mitchell and Shayna Garrett of Decatur County Riverside High School?

Do you have any of the yearly stats on the girls that have improved over the years? How many games where you at? Are you still a cheerguy?

they put 3 on # 10 demieka mitchell and she still scores 19 for Riverside. Opened it up for 4 more great players to score also. I personally would like to see Dawn Brasher be more aggressive, go up harder, and OPEN up her game. She's got it inside but shes holding back. Got some chocolate cupcakes saying she will let em have it during the tournament games!Love all the Lady Panthers! GO BIG BLUE!

RIverside's # 10 Demieka Mitchell. Just a junior and I have never seen someone want the ball like that girl. Broke a school record this year with 41 points. She can handle the ball, she can play defense, she can score at will, she can do it all. Averaging 25.5 pt.s a game and over 100 steals and the seasons not over!

I think I would watch out for Riverside. These girls are playing a better ball game coming down the stretch, they beat Scotts Hill AT Scotts Hill. They were intimidated by TCA's size. They can make up for size with their quick speed and ball handling. Did you notice #10 Demieka Mitchell broke a school record over Clarksburg with 41 points? She is averaging 24.8pts per game.

My comment was about an ADULT. A player went to shake hands with an ADULT HEAD COACH and he refused and left the court without shaking hands with anyone. How do our children/players learn this behavior?FROM ADULTS!

1-12-07 Adamsville vs. Riversides Lady Panthers. Demieka Mitchell scores 30 points. Riverside wins 56-52. As usual players shake hands with other team, and a Riverside player approaches Adamsville Coach and he turns and walks off the court without shaking hands with anyone. You should be ashamed of your self Todd McGee. You should apologize to both teams for your bad sportsmanship. What kind of an example to you set for kids with this poor behavior?
