Been looking around and talking to friends in Middle TN, this will be a good one, but with travel and the Meigs running attack, this one goes to the Tigers. One step further.

Excellent game. Mistake free football for the most part by Meigs. I was happy to see Oneida go toe to toe in the trenches. Meigs has a great chance. Good luck to Yeti and the rest of the Tiger faithful, bring it home for Region 2-2A!

One of these teams will practice on Thanksgiving. Been there done that. It's a true honor to play that deep in the playoff. Good luck to both teams, and stay health for next week. And by the way Go Indians. On the road means nothing.

Looks like it might be a game of inches tonight with all the water that's expected. We have had a far share or two of it. Maybe this time we keep our hands on the ball and the eyes on the prize.

But they are not, gonna be a dandy tonight!

Crow is like me, we Indian fans at heart, then Region 2 fans, sorry you just happen to be in the Indians way. Come next week, something tells me we will all be on the same side against those others, regardless after the Indians win. I just like a good competitive game, like we had earlier this year.

Can I ask one question, with all this ref bashing, has any of the bashers undertaken the time to file his or her application to become an official for football or any other sport? I know some officiating has been less than "spot on" from time to time, but did you ever wonder why there is a shortage of officials, this bashing I think speaks it all. The blindside block has been the most discussed, but what about the chop block that was called on Oneida that didn't occur and turned a scoring opportunity after a first down at the 18 into a 2nd and 25 from the 44. Guess that was forgotten. It is what it is, let's all be friends and move on there are a whole lot more important issues than high school football. Back to life after football.

And when they catch it, I hope it is when they play the Indians.

Round 3, at this point and time, to be one of the top 8 left in 2A is an accomplishment. Indians survived a battle last night. It was war! One could say help you prepare for a tough game with the Tigers, problem is no time to heal. It's a time of year when desire kicks in. I can say this, version one of this game was a good game in Oneida, let's hope the game in Decatur matches it. If it does the game could go either way. This week for both teams, practice the forward pass, LOL.

Back on track, in 36 hours this game will be behind us and we will know who was the better team on November 15th, 2019. Two great teams, one goal. Lots of running off tackle and up the middle. A few counters by both teams. Two good defenses. This game comes down to field position and special teams. Looked like Gap had not field position all game but for one drive. Always had a long field. Short distances to the goal line make for more points. When it comes down to it, I'll take the Indian special teams to anyone. Good kicking game and great returns all year.

The fields are wet, temperatures are dropping, could be a frozen tundra. Who's gonna be the toughest in Round 1? Doesn't mean it will carry over to Round 2. The surprise on the Reservation, Oneida puts 34 on the board. And that ain't common at all. Good luck to you all.

Shortest overall time game of the year. Looks like a close one, 21-7 Indians with a special teams score. Just have to tackle this week.

84 1/2 hours and the new season begins. Records mean nothing. It's one week at a time. If you are looking ahead, you might get left behind. Good match ups this week across the board here in R1 v. R2, even better in week 2 no matter who comes from week 1. I'd say home teams got the edge. But watch out, I'm sure one upset looms. There is a surprise coming from Reservation. Good luck all.

Looking at SN, a good sized team but has struggles. Question is, have they been hit like the Indians are gonna hit em? If the Indians would mix in some pass when they don't have too, they will be a VERY dangerous team for anyone in 2A. Good TE and good WR, just can't comprehend when they don't get more touches.

Before watching Coalfield last night I assumed this would be a good game to see. I know this is a long standing rivalry and records and stats can be thrown out but with that being said Coalfield just could not contain OS. I know weather had some to do with it, but I would not have figured it had 27 points worth. Still should be a good game, and Oneida pulls it out.

Half the preparation is in, the countdown to Friday is on. Who is scheming the best defensive plans? There's where the winner will be.

Line of Scrimmage control wins this game. This game is gonna be a physical one, Senior night on the reservation too. Maybe a little extra in the tank for the Indians at home. Gonna be a hot topic this week all around due to region championship on the line.

Hard to get a bead on this one. Tough to determine what TKA really has. They have size and some speed, just some bad losses. GP is a good loss, they are good, but I wonder about others. I'll know more later. The OHS boys gotta hunt and release the hounds to really get after it. As for now, Indians in a close one and I mean very close one.

Would be a good week to get up 14 then work on live action passing game.

This one is gonna be quiet all week. Not much in it with the unfortunate year CG is having. I hope they find a way to put it back together, but after Friday.

I didn't like that '87 game. GB had a great year, but we came over the next year and won on your field.

Gonna be a good one, but one thing to remember, this game is only a measuring stick for both teams to determine where they are after week 4. No Region Championship on the line, no playoff implications. So let's hope for a clean, no injury game for both teams. If it ends 7-3 or 35-0, remember just a measuring stick to help you get better. This OS team gonna cause some rumbles in 1A. Got a team that could win any game they are playing. Tough, gritty kids that want to win!
