  1. I watched Collierville absolutely dominate Ravenwood. I watched Bearden play long balls with no possession .. After watching both games it was obvious who would come out on top
  2. I'd like to see Riverdale win it all. But I won't predict my case on what I want to happen... So I'll say in the finals we will see Brentwood VS Collierville
  3. Somebody is upset about my correct predictions in the A/AA brackets. I'm calling the Bearden game a 2-1 win Columbia. If Columbia can play Riverdale in the manner they did in that regional final, it will be hard to top them. But it's about who shows up today. Who wants it more Best of luck to all teams today
  4. I have CAK winning it all. I actually have CAK the best team in the state right now
  5. Now I know that I have Riverdale picked to win. But I don't think we are giving this Houston team enough credit. I agree with the fact that the best two teams play in the quarter finals, but I also think That side of the bracket is insane. Riverdale and Houston are in my opinion the 3rd and 4th best teams in the tournament. I know I have argued for my Columbia team all season long, but I honestly find the state champions winner coming out of that side of the bracket.
  6. The Cookeville vs Columbia game was officiated horribly .. Missed calls both ways. Game was getting out of hand. Thankfully nobody was injured for either squad. But it didn't look like a very much contested game. Anybody see any of the other games and would like to give us some highlights?
  7. Riverdale, Brentwood. Ravenwood. Columbia. Really sorry for columbia's seniors. They are having to miss their graduation.
  8. Very interesting outcomes. Should be an interesting state tourney
  9. Well..... Good game to you mr Scotty my prediction seems to be one goal off... Sorry
  10. Giles Co fans. It's my prediction. Get over it. Prove me wrong with the outcome of your game
  11. Also it is funny what you said about the Columbia keeper.. Reason being, they are playing in cookeville tonight. And the keeper is actually signed on a kicking scholarship for Tennessee Tech's football team. Not really important though, just a fun fact
  12. I don't think Giles Co has been tested this year at all with their district. Columbia Academy is in my opinion the best they played. And they had an off year this year. I think fairview moves forward not because of their team, but because their goalie is outstanding. Now had Giles Co played their last game scheduled against Columbia Central I would be able to compare and see just how Giles Co matched up against an upper level team. As far as I am conserned .. Giles and fairview come out of the weakest A\AA district\region in the tournament. My Prediction is lipscomb and WhiteHouse win in that bracket by a minimum of 2 goals a piece
  13. Harden Valley, Bearden, Columbia, Riverdale, Ravenwood, Brentwood, Cordova, Jackson Northside All of these games I think Will be extremely close! But these are my predictions
  14. a 5-0 win is a fluke? Hypocrites. Look under the Columbia Face off post at you CA fans, and how you are so confident over a 1-0 win that you got over Columbia Central who is by far the more elite team. That 1-0 Win is a Fluke. Not a 5-0 Beating As for playing a man down? You kicked the goalie in the face and took him out of the game. In a sense, they were playing with a second string goalie. Which is a lot like playing a man down. Its not like you guys were playing a man down because you had no subs, you were playing a man down because of dirty play. I noticed you guys played very dirty at the columbia central game as well. Late hits after ball played away, shouldering people without intention of going for the ball. I can not count how many times you guys did that. Finally Columbia's Sweeper took it upon himself to play physical back with you guys, and all you heard out of your fans were complaints that he was to rough. You cant argue one way and turn and completely ignore your logic before in argument on another topic. Im done. I wish CA would get off their high horse
  15. ^ lol at this guy. 50/50 first half????? You have absolutely lost your mind. Central possessed the ball the entire game. You guys scored off the one of about 7 clear looks at the goal you had all game. And as for CA having to play defensive. Your field is about the smallest field in middle TN. Never once other than one top striker, and a wing making runs did you guys ever push offensively . You guys played many long balls that Central's sweeper have you no chance at. I would be shocked if on video you boys strung more than 10 total passes together on the opposing half of the field. As for your back playing strong. When you have about 16 people in a half on that field you are pushing it for space at all. As for your whole "CA always plays good against central" statement. The first game central once again held ALL of the possession and had you 3-0 at halftime. Finishing the game 3-2 only because they let you guys play against there JV Squads. Now please do not try and argue that statistically wise this game was a close match at all ... Looks from more than 28 yards? They hit the cross bar 3 times from inside the 18. And ha numerous chances off crosses etc. granted they just didn't finish them. #21 for CA is by far the best field player out there. CA is also blessed with an outstanding goal keeper who I can imagine is the reason for many of their wins. Now I am not downing Columbia academy by any means, this is a particularly outstanding unit. Let's be real though, the score does not reflect the game one bit.

  17. There was a shocking upset today with Columbia academy topping columbia central 1-0 But it isn't what it seems A rough estimate of stats. Columbia shots- 30-40 CA- 10-13 Possestion was about 90%-10% Columbia centrals way. Columbia Academy used there small field to an advantage playing a what seemed to be a 1 striker 9 defender system. Columbia central also hit the cross bar 3 times during the game. Just a break down for you guys. Great job to both teams
  18. I agree with you. The biggest toss up would have to be between catholic and Brentwood ... But those are definitely by far the top 2 teams

    1. Smyrna 2. Riverdale 3. Blackman 4. Oakland 5. Siegal 6. Lavergne Smyrna seems to have all the essentials to destroy anyone they play Riverdale is your typical powerhouse. Always expected to play well Blackman doesn't seem like much honestly. But their goalie is by far the best I have seen in high school soccer Oakland has what seems to be a underestimated offense. I strongly believe this team will be a shocker in the district tournament Siegal just seems to be missing something this year, not quit sure what it is. Lavergne has one of the best strikers in the district, with a pretty good mid fielder to back him, but as we all know, two players can't take control of a game.
  20. I don't know much about this game other than what people have said. I was at the Columbia central game instead.. I will be very interested to see how CA fairs against Columbia central tomorrow. Most of all I look foward to watch the undefeated Giles team for the first time on the 30th.
  21. Well... Let's look. Every team has off games... I mean when you look at the whole picture at what they did to Siegal who took Smyrna down. Look at how they handled Lavergne tonight with a 4-0 win. Stats show Lavergne had around 7 total shots on goal. I see where you are coming from though, and I wish the best to both teams. My question is, how would these teams fair agains the DOD
  22. Jeremiah Wright (Columbia Central) - Memphis Colton Bryant (Columbia Central) - Martin Methodist
  23. To funny ^ Giles County And Columbia Academy are running your brackets right now. But Lets stay on topic ... I feel that catholic is tough, with bearden not far behind
  24. Now I am not Dissing Dickson County by any means, but I have been told to cover the Columbia area this season. With Columbia Central and Columbia Academy and I just so happened to be at this game, and from what I saw Dickson County will need much work to become a top pick this year. Columbia wrecked them, their back line just couldn't handle the offensive power of Columbia.
