Actually, I don’t think Beech has gotten better as the season goes.. typically they don’t. I started not to post this, as it seems I’m jumping in on y’all too, but I’m really just offering an opinion. They’re always a tough out Week 2 because they’re so fundamental and just do what they do. We’re more multiple, and not typically as far along early in the season. I think if we played Week 8 every year instead, we’d win the majority of them. That’s just my opinion. Outside of a few oddity’s, Beech usually fades as the season goes. Case in point, 2019. That being said, if they beat a healthy Summit team, we’ll probably be the underdogs should we meet in the semi’s. Anything can happen in the playoffs. I hope we get to see. Maybe we can make a bet that you’ll actually pay up on.. because I’m betting on my kid and his teammates, every time. GBR

After watching the film a couple of times, I really didn’t think this game would be very competitive, and it wasn’t. Henry County had at least 3 touchdowns wiped off the board for silly calls by the officals. It could’ve very well have been 70-0. Lots of talk about Brighton’s running back, but I thought their QB was hands down their best runner/player. He just had zero help.

I would love to see this one. I could see this game going either way, and I’m not just talking about who wins. Both teams are talented enough to stay within a score of each other, or blow the other out if there are mistakes made. I don’t know how to pick this one, but my mind tells me to go Beech. The twins have the ability to take over a game though, and I could see Summit pulling it out too. Good luck to both teams. GBR Edit: I think what separates the two are fundamentals and defense. That’s why I’m leaning towards Beech.

We just need to take care of business, one game at a time. I don’t want to see them looking ahead or past NE just because we smoked them earlier this season. That mentality is why we weren’t playing Summit in the semis last season.
