With Coach Ward and Coach Blow we had kids that played all three sports. No idea why but the current basketball and most baseball kids just have no interest in football it is what it is. I am sure Coach has tried. We have only 2 seniors this season and they all got much better in the summer. I am looking forward to next season for sure. Junior high numbers are way up and have been for the last 2 seasons. The region we are in is tough but things are in the right direction at the moment imho.

Meh a bit but I'm more a baseball/football fan. I used to watch quite a bit before covid.

Peabody isn't as good as Waverly IMO. They are the one team out of our region that I would expect to lose in round one. If they win I wouldn't be shocked or anything They are not a bad team but defiantly not where they have been the last decade or so.

The field is now hard as a rock and has huge flat spots for lack of a better description on it all the while the "bleachers" and I call them that loosely remain. I work there and was actually in the flood. The community as a whole are great folks who have rallied around one another after that tragedy. All though i live in Camden and have for a long time I am from neither place. They have many bridges still out, schools needing to be built and those are just a few things they have to spend money on before the field and its lack of visitors seating can or even should be addressed. I do understand your concern but they have far greater concerns. Waverly Strong!

Maybe because that was our best run since the mid 60s tp 70's? lol Check the total team numbers and grades of the current team only 2 seniors s. Averaging close to 40 a game. Gonna lose a Guard and a part time RB . Things are looking up for the next few years for sure. 8 years? it seems longer to be honest. We all have our ups and downs except Alcoa it seems> Regardless of our wins or losses we will have a stadium full of fans EVERY year and a great facility for BOTH teams to play in. knowing that our program is ran so well by the presidents club and volunteers while being supported by the community makes those up years so much better. Maybe you guys will figure that out one day instead of wasting money on blow up helmets .

I have seen both teams starters and back up folks. No way No how Lewis County can hang with Milan for 4 quarters. Believe what you want. We might get to see might not but I will be here if we do saying I told you so.

Last season i said after the Huntingdon win vs Riverside that I still felt like Riverside was the better team and caught a lot of flak for it from the stank fans .The rematch was exactly what I said it would be and funny i never heard a word . I have not seen Huntingdon this year but will. I feel like the Riverside team and coaches are on a mission. Huntingdon is always a well coached well prepared team. This game could go either way but I still feel like this Riverside team has something special in its near future

Camden played Lewis late in the summer maybe last week of July or first week of August ...Milan will destroy them.
