cannonball and smoke I think you figured out that chattacane and doug vick are complete idiots that just because their team finally won some games think they are world beaters and do nothing but look for excuses why other teams are BETTER! but if you look at who they play your team or quite frankly any decent team would have won just as many games as they did. the combined record of the mighty hurricanes 2012 opponents was 46 wins and 54 losses their region opponent record was 26-44 So just let them enjoy this great success they are having, and by the way eh is still scared to play baylor you can use any excuse you want. bottom line is you had the chance and said no. but I will give them some credit for scheduling DB and Riverdale good luck with that!

we also as you say beat bradley silly our starters played a quarter and a half at the most, 6a would be better but no one in 5a could beat baylor. columbia who is in semi finals now couldn't play with us it was same story our starters played half it was 24-0 they scored against our jv with a minute left to make it 24-7. the teams in chattanooga may not be scared but they don't want that loss they would get if they played us so call it what you will.

Now if your coaching staff was that confident dont you think they would have agreed to play? there is a huge difference between 4a 5a and D2 but all you need to do is play and you'll find out.

really, I didn't say middle school game. no kids that are in high school already would leave to go sit out a year to play at baylor. reggie upshaw never went to east hamilton he went to hunter middle in the sixth grade and gage went there only in the sixth grade and everyone knew he was going to baylor. you can't blame a family for wanting something better for their kids. I do think this could be a great game for years to come,man up and play!

I couldn't agree more, this kid is very special. I have seen many high school games and have not seen but a few better than him. very elusive, never gives up on a play and seems to be calm and under control in huge situations. if I was a college coach I would be trying real hard to talk him into playing football at the next level not baseball. good luck against ensworth, you know the deal stop corn and you have a chance!

I like Baylor's chances to go to MUS and get the win. if they can stay away from turnovers and continue to run the ball the way they have the past 4 weeks they will give the owls all they want and just might get out of town with the win. brentwood academy, and ensworth will both win big and I agree the mba and christian brothers game should be a good one. if the mba team that played the first part of the season shows up I like the big red to get the win if they are not ready to play the brothers will move on to ensworth.

from what I've read today this is a great young man and family, God has something special in mind for you stay strong enough to embrace this setback and enjoy the many blessings the rest of your life has to offer.
