3 weeks ago I thought Soddy was a lock for a home playoff game now it looks like we will be lucky to get in at all.

Ok. After watching Friday I am not sure that Soddy can beat anyone in the district. Didn't realize how bad the 2 teams we have played are. Thought we would have a better year but 3-7 is looking us right in the eye.

Soddy QB will get his yards your defense is not that good but Soddys defense is worse.

This game will be close. Maynor will throw all over these guys. I told you guys at the first of the year he would be the best QB in the district and Carter already has 5 TDs. If Soddy can improve on defense they could finish second in the district.

Totally agree Everyone in the district with the exception of East Hamilton should win convincingly tonight.

Watched Cleveland last night I think we may have a chance to do something this year but lets see what happens tonight. Starting new traditions tonight at Soddy.

Enough about defense. Who is going to win this district. I myself think McMinn is the sleeper that nobody is talking about.

Will Soddy climb out of the basement this year? I dont see how they could. They graduated 19 seniors and only won 3 games last year (actually 2 but we will count the Tyner forfeit anyway). I got to see spring practice and they look pretty bad. I dont know of anyone that is playing another sport besides the QB and I dont think he is even going to play football next year. He is going to concentrate strictly on baseball is the rumor. Does anyone know anything I dont or are we headed for another very long year.

Where did you see Soddy Daisy. I saw them lose 12-2 to Franklin County. They did have some people out and they should be picked to win the district this year.

You are exactly right. Coach Barnes will not be there more than 3 years. He will leave for a lesser position if he has to just to get out of the mess they have.

I guess now we know why kids are leaving and going to other schools. From what I hear all the good athletes from the middle schools are going to other schools. And we all know that kids are moving to get out of the situation at Soddy. How long is this kind of thing going to have to go on before changes are made to make people want to come to Soddy Daisy and stay there?

Is Soddy going to be the worst team in the district again? I would say so. Cant understand why Soddy cant have a better team. This is the worst the program has looked since the early 90s and after watching the JV last year it looks to be getting worse. Not sure what the problem is but I just thought I would start a thread about the bottom of 5AAA since everyone wants to talk about the top.

How many districts in the state have 4 QBs that could play college football? I would say none other than ours.

This district is loaded with QBs. I mean our QB has thrown for almost 1300 yds and 12 tds and nobody even talks about him.
