Wow, did Bearden have all their starters? If they did , one would have to think they were very lucky to get in the State Tournament last year. Science Hill beating them by that much, its clear which team needs to be playing in state.

Ladadad, you doing ok, since the trip to Science Hill? Have not heard anything from you. I heard a rumor , that the Lady Ads were getting a couple of good transfer players in. They are better than what Farragut lost as seniors and as good as any in District 4. This will give you something to look forward to, lady ads may not have to go back to Science Hill. I wish the rumor was they were coming to Heritage, Heritage would dominate district 4. Rumors don't always work out, but Farragut would be lucky.

Memphis Central may just win it all, they played like they were on a whole different level against Bearden. 62-43 Memphis Central, wow!

What happened to Farragut? I thought Farragut would pull out the win. Bearden must have had a great game. Ladadad did you see the score of Science Hill vs Tennessee game? If Farragut could not handle a freshman point guard , it's gonna be ugly in Johnson City. Hate it for you, this is the third year in a row on the Hill, correct?

I like Farragut for region championship , Farragut should have never been beaten by Bearden. Heritage had Bearden beat on Monday night, bad passes and turnovers in the last 2 min, helped Bearden win that one. Heritage should be playing tonight! Farragut needs to trap the point guard for Bearden every time she gets the ball and create a turnover, keep someone very close to Walsh at all times and get her in foul trouble, she will reach in and foul. Bearden would have to shut down 5 good players for Farragut, not sure they can do that, Farragut should be playing out of their shoes tonight. Hate to agree with Ladadad , but he is somewhat correct about Walsh. Bearden runs their whole game around her, she can score, but all she does is shoot. Yes, she was district 4 AAA player of the year and I am sure that is for scoring. Most players will score if they shoot that much. Walsh will need to learn to play defense , create for team mates and ball handing . I think she turned it over 4 times walking, against Heritage. You can't just score and get to the next level. You have to be a well rounded player. With all that, I like Farragut tonight, they have talent to win big, if they play smart!

You , must be a Bearden parent. Has Walsh had any major DI , etc. offers yet? You said she was best in area, I have to disagree with that one, she is good, but Jameson (farragut), Knight (heritage), Bangish (maryville) and several more at private schools , are just as good as Walsh. The best in this area has to be Jada Johnson (fulton)

Well, there is always next year for Heritage and they will get better. Farragut , based on talent should beat Bearden. I was shocked Farragut lost the one game to Bearden, put a lot of pressure on the freshman point guard and have someone guard Walsh really close and Farragut should pull out a win. Farragut needs to get the ball to Jameson, she can score. Farragut will have to play very good defense the whole game and not let up. You are right about Beaden running off players, lost a good point guard in Kim , she left this year and is moving schools for next season, so I've heard. They lost another good player last season, Denton also quit. Unusual to have players quit that often. Oh well, looking forward to a good game! Go district 4AAA

Did Sue Yun-Kim not quit this year? Was she not the starting point guard? I believe Denton only quit Bearden, she played freshmen year at Farragut and finished the year, if I am not mistaken. I saw Denton play and she was good, not could have been good. Norwood was 2 guard to begin with and Kim was point, I was told Kim quit this year.

I am a Heritage fan, I am hoping they can play well in the tournament, they are a better team, than what their record shows. I heard Bearden's starting point guard quit and the back up point tore her acl and a freshmen is running point, true? If this is true , that's gonna hurt Bearden in the tournament. They have good players quit every year, the Denton girl, who i remember from aau , was an outstanding player in middle school and aau. She stopped playing at Bearden and now the starting point guard quit and is rumored to be making a transfer to a school a little west of Bearden. What's up with players leaving this program at Bearden? I find it surprising, players leave a sport, they have invested so much time and money into . Go Heritage !!

I hope a team from district 4 can make it to state, once you get there it's a different ball game. Look at the record of the top 5 in state, they dominate teams, no one in district 4 really dominates anyone. I thought Farragut had several D1 players on team, they must be small D1 at best .Maybe Farragut is not playing as a team, they have lost games , they should have won. I hate to say it , but I do not think it is the year for District 4 to have a chance at state. If Farragut or Bearden make it , they will not go very far. Riverdale will more than likely win state, I mean come on they have a girl going to Baylor.

Come on Ladadad, Farragut is good, but they should have beat Bearden. What Farragut needs to do now is concentrate on next meeting with Bearden and not be thinking about district win or regional win. Someone give Bearden a real game! Shut down there one player that scores and you got it. I am pulling for Heritage to get into the mix! Go Blount teams!

Exactly, Mitchell is much more all around player than any Farragut player, she is good. I think she would be too much for Bearden or Farragut. I would like to see a district 4 team do well, but Science Hill , Tenn High just good teams.

I will go out on a limb and say no team in District 4 really wants to go to Johnson City, lol. Science Hill is too good of a team, whoever plays them from District 4, will more than likely go home defeated.

Knight is already a very good player, she is as good as any player from Bearden or Farragut. Bearden only beat Farragut by 2 or 3, it may be different when they play at Farragut. If teams continue to leave Walsh wide open, Bearden will score. Cover, Walsh and put a lot of pressure on Bearden's point guard, Bearden can be beat. If these two teams place first and second in district, they could still get beat in the tournament. If they go on, one of them will meet with Science Hill and no coach can get them ready for that!

I saw the game and it had nothing to do with the refs or student section. The game between Farragut and Bearden is the always the same. I saw no students taken away by police from Bearden, but Farragut had 2 taken out of the game, so good try with that one. Foul trouble, Farragut post had 3 or 4 in the fourth. I would not call that foul trouble, 3 in first or second maybe. Farragut has a really good player in the Jameson girl, she posted up and scored almost every time they got her the ball. They don't give her the ball enough, the senior girls wanna shoot way too much. I saw nothing special from the upperclassmen, the girl that signed with Belmont, well I saw nothing from her. Farragut would have been better off taking two girls and trying to cover the Walsh girl, Farragut had no one who could keep up with her. Farragut is not a fast team. I agree with you that Bearden may lose some games, but Farragut will also lose more games, they are no where near as good as you think!
