Ron thank you for being civil in this discussion - I have the greatest respect for MHS for no matter what teams you play good or bad your winning percentage is a modern marvel !Even if other teams don't match up it's still a tough task for young men on Friday to string all them wins together Now as outsider wouldnt you want to see your team play an Ensworth or BA

Lol referee very nice and mjgoldenbear you are spot on...It's a shame the usual suspects ruin it for MHS - I used to reside on 30a ( Destin area ) and happened to meet a few families of some players on MHS team last summer. We talked football , the town of maryville , and coachT... Very pleasant humble group . They did tell me about some on coach t when I asked them about why they are defensive and rude , and I do quote " they have miserable lives and use football as an escape from their situation or lack of ability to move on " they did go on to say " nothing wrong in being a supporter especially alum or those that live in the area as it's Friday night event but those that come and seek argument or need to defend our program don't get it " NOW how true is that !!!!!!!!!! We talked more and said " we must be doing something right " we are disliked by almost everyone and in sports it's a good things b/city means we are the top dog" So there is class over at MHS and many that post here do carry that ..... So why does some MHS fans even respond to this thread , why even care ? Some have the Napoleon syndrome I guess.... I do laugh at the one guy that says weights , school , practice , classroom film , dinner , homework then bed I don't want my boy to miss class to travel 3-4 hrs on a Friday - dude it would be what one Friday only ( perhaps a Saturday stay ) can assure you much more finer academic schools then MHS do it / if it's a burden perhaps your not should slip on over to the MHS tuba section if the band ....

Funny thing is they must feel we are correct - why else would they hijack others topics , post resumes and give the we are the gods of football speech ....Heck if I had that much hardware as MHS would never get into a battle on a social site to defend me team ( why would you if your team had more gold balls then all the HS in the state ) It's only a few of them to be fair

MHS trolls or hijacks threads ( well only a few ) They have a complex - they tell you of the gold balls they have and be proud of it but better not talk about them , nor question them for heavens sake. Time and time you go thru your cupcake schedule and to your credit best the 7aaa team , but play a schedule like them where if the conference games dint smack ya down the non conference games will.... Course GQ won't play with the big dogs and chance the magical myth of MHS losing - if I were a fan I would want I would demand GQ to play the best teams in state ie Ensworth or a BA , visit Bowling Green, Hoover or an Ohio school to see how they stack up - already proved your the top public team why not test yourself - afraid perhaps ? Maybe the 40 year old Al Bundys might go into shock ?

Very impressed with how CHS shut down HHS last week but RHS can hit you so many ways on offense - RHS defense is light out , smart they don't make mistakes , always in postion and can tackle ...... Rematch games are tough to call but let's go RHS 30 CHS 12

1. Just like how Blackman was gonna smoke Indy and had to hold on for dear life beating the 4th place 11aaa team2. You have more problems to worry bout then RHS ie Oakland and Maryville

Much respect for the Blaze as always want a middle TN school to win the Gold Ball .........Can't compare RHS to last year , they are for real and will give any team fits on both sides of the ball

I would put Ravenwood right up there or better on D ......And MHS will play em for the hardware

Thought CHS would win but in a high scoring game - all the talk bout Oakland vs Blackman and out east Maryville ...... BUT I'm telling you flying under the rader is Ravenwood and they are scary good on offense and in a defense playing like the. 85 Bears

Indy is better then last year - they let one slip away from Blackman and dominated them on offense - team played tough schedule and think total combine loss for the 4 teams they played and lost was 5 - in all games except Ravenwood they sprinted to early leads and lost late in tight games - I expect them to do the same this Friday but hope they can hold up on defense - HHS will see the best offense they have seen - the Indy QB is lethal passing the ball and Navy commit running back DC can break it anytime - That said Indy will score but can they stop HHS enough to win is the question

1. Wilco fans very disappointed in you all - To see only 2 replies and have this game buried on page 2 on coach T? This should be the game to watch as I expect fireworks ( there I said so watch a low scoring game ) but really both teams averaging over 42 PTS a game this should be fun and THIS puts 1 team in a good position ( still will say no team in district goes undefeated in league play ) Ok Ravenwood can run the ball but Indy how did the stop Beech like that wow. !

Indy better athletes last year this year not as much but expirenced and plays as a TEAMWill be fun to watch in Wilco , Ravenwood , CHS and Indy all undefeated and it will be up for grabs us throw in a very good franklin team /

Indy last year was all sophomores and juniors exception the 3 that went on to play in the SEC.Their running backs (navy commitment ) was a averaging 8.5 Yds carry and the junior ( plays like Jerome Bettis is at 8.1 Yds carry - throw in another 2 headed monster of the jr and sophomore QB whom can pass with the best in all of Tennessee and you see why they in 4 games average some 41 PTS a game -

And you were saying what about the beech defense. ?

Dynamic means no Vic Wharton but make no mistake this team is much much better on offense this year averaging well over 41 PTS a game in 3 games.Led by Childress 8.1 Yds per carry ( Navy) they play 2 QBs and both can pass as good as anyone in middle Tn

we agree this is not your typical BHS teams of the past BUT lets face it CPA and Blackman are no little sisters of the poor - Think about it , in our conference its not hard to think that any of the teams if they played Blackman and CPA would be 0-2 as well ( perhaps 1-1 at best )
