  1. Best guess: Philip Shadowens
  2. Unbelievable. Does anyone know woody's status?
  3. Many seem to think Oakland wins. If Riverdale is healthier my prediction changes.
  4. Big game! If we win we place second in the district. With that said will Riverdale be able to stop Man or score enough point to pull the upset. What is their injury situation? Post predictions. Oakland 28 Riverdale 14
  5. call me crazy but the word is that not all coaches have agreed with the decision and don't forget your other QB has been injured i heard fractured ribs. As far as Shad, he is a great coach but his passing game is a two man game that doesn't rquire a QB to do much. Your other QB has more team support than your starter at least according to a few players from this side of town. Who knows what Robbins thinks but i bet you it isn't his decision. One is a D-1 prospect and that isn't the one playing.
  6. That kid you guys have on the bench is better in all phases of the QB game. The Blackman offense was very productive in the first two games. I hear he was injured but he is definitely the most talented of the 2. But i was also referring to a few receivers that sit on the bench. Didn't the QB get injured? As far as turnovers your current QB has had several picks and fumbles each game and thanks to his lack of experience of not spiking the ball we won the game. He is ok but will not win you games. If Blackman would have opened it up with that other kid like you guys do now your season would be completely different, maybe one loss. Go Patriots!
  7. Anyone else feeling upset here? Go Patriots!
  8. This is a wish. There may be kids that don't want to play for Bruce but the reality is that there aren't many "difference makers" roaming the hallways of Ryan that aren't currently playing.
  9. haha more like can't win the big games anymore so its easier to build rather than adjust an offense that quite frankly is one of the most predictable offensives i have seen in years.
  10. This is true, however, the administration decides after the 3rd party has qualified all applications. For example, Father Ryan lost an athlete when a competing school was able to cover more money that allowed the student to pay for books. Cory Harris does a good job of identifying targets but Ryan needs to pull at least 8 a year to make a difference. This would also keep others from the feeding system more inclined to go to Ryan as well. Ryan has far more students on financial aid than any other Div 2 2a school.
  11. Your credibility diminished when you started comparing Freshman teams, lol. As for #2, that is laughable and poor speculation. 3 Has more to do with the school than the state of athletics. But again the biggest difference is between Father Ryan's philosophy and how it relates to dispersing the financial aid at their disposal. The alumni should pony up donations so they can afford to admit more athletes. Nothing wrong with Bruce as a coach, he does need a good offensive coordinator. Ryan should hire Matthews away from Siegel.
  12. It's fairly simple, Father Ryan needs to give more athletic scholarships in order to compete in Division 2 2a. They need to pull at least 10 or more athletes every year, not 2 to 4.
  13. Blackman should win but they appear to be soft and predictable. Siegel provided the blue print on how to stop the Blackman offense which seems to be run oriented with play action setting up most passes. They seem to work off the combo of curl, flat to RB or clear with fly RB to flat and TE in some type of corner/out. They work one side of the field and hardly ever throw over the middle unless it's an occasional slant. Without I'tavious Mathers providing miracles this offense is as basic as it gets. GO STARS!
