Pee-wee ball?!?! Wheewww...you're tough! I'm 3-0 against my dad in goony golf too because the last time we played I was seven years old, but I didn't know that actually counted. Now, thanks to you, I can finally sleep at night knowing this! I can see how you can sleep knowing you're 6-0 against South Pittsburg when you were still potty training (and that was probably in high school), but I can't see how you sleep knowing you got an "education" at Marion Co. High School. That's the one I can't figure out. I know I would wake up crying and screaming every night.

Almost all of you are morons. This is the sorriest region in the state. If South Pittsburg doesn't win this region every season, it's because the school closed.

How many district playoff games did you guys win? And what were those Lookout Valley scores? Oh.....yeah....I remember now.

actually it was 10 points, and south pittsburg didn't have split anything...it was the b-team. you just don't fire bomb any coaches and everything will be ok.

Statman - the most overrattttttttttted Spelling Bee champion in the state. It's "overrated" and "opponents" dip. Quit showing off that private school education. I guess South Pittsburg would be a shoe-in during a District 6-A Spelling Tournament.

hey retards, i'm not talking about recruiting with cars, houses, prostitutes and such. leave that to the university of tennessee. i'm talking about helping to pay tution and fee costs of a private school education (which all the parents would like their child to have), or offering other incentives to come to a school or to STAY at a school. just because they grew up there doesn't mean they haven't been tantalized to leave, but convinced to stay. usually, the kids are not even involved. it's all about the parents most of the time.

come on...they don't grow these 6'8 guys in some sort of lab...although they might...i've never really explored every room in the schools...take temple for example, they lured wadley and his kids away from CCS when the chargers wouldn't do things they way they wanted....

hey multidnk, pop open a spelling book now and then.... south pittsburg's robinson could compete at the AA or AAA level. in class A, he's got to be a center because there's no size unless you openly recruit while the TSSAA looks the other way like CCS, Boyd Buchanan, Temple, Grace, and on and on. Cheap shot, I know, but come on if you think that's not true you're just kidding yourself. At the AA or AAA level, Robinson would probably be a small forward. he's got a good outside shot, can handle the ball pretty well too. Would he put up the same numbers?? yeah, if he set his mind to it, I'd say he would.

i agree with that svcfan. they definitely underachieved. probably up until maybe two years ago. i think they won 10-12 games, and they've gotten better and better every season. last year, they were just under 20 wins, and this year it looks like they'll have 21-23 before the end of the season.

they had a couple of good teams in 86 and 87, but i don't know where you're getting this early 90's thing. they won about 8 games from '89-'92. in '90-'91, they won 1 game, and in '92 they were 0-26.

it must have been a great game for the refs because we all know that anytime sequatchie loses it's all the refs' fault.

what's up poker? have you converted to a South Pittsburg fan? are you abandoning all hope for your big matchup tonight?

so now they're not beating teams bad enough?? if you look at their schedule, you'll see that they're not really trouncing anyone. but, right now, their beating everyone. so they beat richard hardy by 13 and sequatchie by 7. they're beating everyone right now. like i said though, we'll see about the pirates one week from tuesday, and then, two weeks from tuesday. @ LV and @ CCS. until then, there's nothing to say.

i agree. they haven't played anybody. the lookout valley win was quality, and i'd even say that the sequatchie win was too (because they play in a tough AA district, so their record is misleading). other than that....a bunch of nobodys. we'll see what south pittsburg is really made out of in a couple of weeks. look at the schedule: @ Lookout Valley Marion County @ CCS We'll know if they're really good, or if they're really good at being pretenders like most of us think, by Feb. 15.

he didn't "leave." he flunked out of sphs. by the way, i saw the tape. it wasn't 34 rebounds. it was actually 72 because a rebound at Richard Hardy is apparently any time you touch the ball during warm-ups, the game, halftime warm-ups, and putting the balls up after the game.
