Everybody in Linden is not overlooking Mt. Pleasant by no means. Perry County will have confidence but enough to respect the team their going to play. Gotta long trip on friday with the wife to good ol' Mt. Pleasant. Go Vikings!!!

I must say, Perry County will surely come out and have a lot more confidence in this game. Hopefully Princeton will get his situation straightened out so he can move on in his young life.

That was a home game my good sir. That helps out a lot. I'm sure if y'all went to Ashland City y'all would not have scored 42, you probably would not have scored 21. It's neither here nor there, but i promise you Mt. Pleasant jokes every year in just about every sport, so if i was a Tiger fan i wouldn't get my hopes up on bringing home a double A state championship because Oneida, Dresden, Boyd-Buchanan, Grace Christian, Friendship Christian, and even Trousdale County would absolute destroy y'all. I'll say y'all will make it to the second round. I promise y'all will learn to respect Perry County after friday. Go Vikings!

Pretty sure son that being tied for fourth with Cornersville and two games ahead of Columbia Academy and one game up on Richland and Wayne County is not the bottom of the Region. This team is very young. The offensive line are all sophomores and they only have five seniors on the whole squad. This young team needs some confidence and if they can get the defensive backs and safeties playing to their potential, then we might be heading to the playoffs. I'm not saying Perry County will win or lose this game. All i'm saying is that they are a very confident and excited bunch right now and they are fifty times better then they were four weeks ago.

That's what everyone said all four years of Marco Dailey's career there and they didn't go any further than the Quarterfinals. All in all i can't see Mt. Pleasant beating anyone out of this Region. They barely beat Spring Hill (26-22) and got beat by Cascade (29-28) and Cheatham Co. (56-42). Now i know that Cheatham Co. is #4 in 3A but still y'all are in a very weak region this year and i don't believe y'all can score with the best of them. I gotta feeling this game will come down to penalties and turnovers. I know Perry County will be ready. They have nothing to lose and no pressure what so ever. As Mt. Pleasant has all to lose and a bunch of pressure on them to win the Region.

We are a whole different team than we were when we went to Collinwood. This team is playing with confidence and if they can get that defense to play like they did in the fourth quarter against Columbia Academy then people are going to have some problems.

I like that score but i'm not going to say who wins or loses this game. This is going to be a very hard fought game in my book and the way Perry County is running their offense i believe they can make this a very interesting matchup. I sure hope i can make this game since it'll probably be a two and a half to three hour drive for me and the boss (Wife). Hope to see a crowd at the ballgame on the Linden side. Let's Go Fellers!!!

Well all i gotta say is How is Mt. Pleasant going to score 60 plus if they don't have the ball?? Perry County usually holds the ball for atleast 6 minutes at a time.

You guys really are pathetic. The offense has been rolling and we should have won 50-26 last night but #10 kept throwing hail mary's. I believe everyone has a chance to win in my opinion. You gotta have faith some time kiddos.

I got Collinwood winning 26-22.

Perry County's coming off a huge win over the Columbia Academy Bulldogs and head a little southwest of Columbia to play the Tigers of Mt. Pleasant. Mt. Pleasant is the overall favorite team to win the region but if Perry County could upset them, then Perry County will only be one game behind the Tigers for first place and it probably guarentee a playoff berth. It'll be a hostile environment but i believe the Vikings will be up to the challenge. Thoughts?

No i think someone said it was McCloud (I hope i'm spelling that right.)?? I'm not real sure who he is but they said he was a linemen turned Full back but he had 89 yards rushing on 12 carries. Not bad for a first timer.

I don't believe they could've helped stop #45 and #21 last week. Perry County's offense was rolling and their defense played amazing in the second half. Those six players wouldn't have changed a thing in my book. Besides it's neither here nor there, Perry County-38 Richland-28 Final. Now on to Columbia Academy this Friday.

Tyler Rice and Jacob have only one thing in common and thats a Mr. Football winner. Austin and Big Daddy Rick are the only ones with a Ring not Tyler. From what i heard he was at the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Perry County had 431 yards rushing and they only threw the ball once the entire game. I think Columbia Academy will have their hands full with our big Half Back #45. I saw on another post that Wayne County had 428 yards rushing on y'all last week. I sure hope the coaches have the same game plan as last week. Row Vikings Row!!!!

Well if the coaches keep switching offenses then they'll probably pass it this week. But if they want to have a chance to win in my opinion they need to run the football to #45 and #21 like they did against Richland.
