I agree.... there is absolutely no reason for William Blount and Heritage with the number of kids they have not to have football teams that can hold their own with anyone in their class.... I on the other hand being a Greenback parent get so very tired of hearing people talk about how Greenback is so overrated because they are a 1A school. I do remember a time when Maryville played Greenback, and Hated being there because it wasn't always pretty.....

I will give you the coaching point. Like I said in a prior post; these kids at wb deserve a coach that is there for the long haul. Someone they can trust and that will work to build this program; from youth on up. Just a word on these 1A schools... these kids are mountain born and cornbread fed... those kids from Coalfield are huge!!! I would dare say there are teams all across the districts that would have a tough time handling them.

Those kids at William Blount deserve a coach who is in the for the long haul. Not just one who is there till something better comes along. It isn't right to keep this program always wondering who is going to leave and who is going to be there.

This is about a coaching search... not to throw dirt on any team.. sounds like a few sour lemons ...greenback plays hard, is disciplined and a great football team.. shame on you for trying to talk trash about the kids..

When all is said and done football is a game but these are our children. My prayers are with the McCamey family for the speedy recovery of Will and with the doctors treating him to have the knowledge to make the very best decisions for this young man. Greenback Mom

GB will bring their game.. This is an amazing group of kids that have played together a long time. To quote a grace player last year at the South Pitt game... "Greenback should have won that game and nobody else could touch them" . So make your own assumptions. I have had the opportunity to watch many sports events over the last few years so my "assumptions" are stated as fact as I see it. Isn't this what this is all about? Everyones opionion?

Class, Grace and Sportsmanship.... Coach's , players and fans..... This is what Greenback shows and Grace lacks. I truly hope that not only do the Refs let the boys play without being one sided but that Grace does not show its classic "Graceless-ness" . Well said Orngnblk.... It is sad that some just feel the need to "spout" to build themselves up and behave in a childish and bullying manner. Go 'Kees!!!

I have watched these GB kids play together a long long time.... They have the talent and the heart to Win The Day.... I have every confidence these kids will come to play and dominate.... look forward to reading this thread all week.... Thanks to those GCA fans that keep it classy and not the trolls who just want to spout off. Never Fear tho... These Greenback boys taste this win.. they will be there to play until the last buzzer... WTD

Graceinator, its because we were beating cloudland so bad last night before half time we decided to rest him for a bigger game. i hope "mak-Attack" is ready for our greenback defense. By the way..... hope you like the taste of GB kool aid, you will be drinking it all night long..
