  1. One of, if not, the biggest Bee fan. Prays to his family
  2. How did that running clock and weak schedule work out? To me, no offense to Greenville, Macon was the second best team thus far on UHS schedule. Congrats to the Bees!
  3. Very true. But it a big diffrence so far. Plenty of ball to be played.
  4. Exactly. Greeneville is catching blocks, and UHS is giving blocks. Greeneville needs to get more physical. UHS needs to sure up the pass defense.
  5. Even just comparing his running stats, kid is still the goat followed by Allison from 96. I compare whatever I choose.

  7. Thats not the goat. Until someone has 74 tds in a season, 2700 pass and 2600 rushing in a season, scores 9 tds in a playoff game, and has 125 career tds....the goat will be Conner "Sunshine" York.
  8. 6'4 210 pound qb as a sophomore, needs to play his best game
  9. Cookeville and Montery are not poverty programs without success. False narrative to justify Uppermans dominance.
  10. Montrey has been to the semis in football and championship game in boys basketball. Cookeville just went to the second round in football, and championship game in girls basketball. Montery and CHS are not poverty programs like you suggest.
  11. Who ever wins, I hope the entire area pulls for the winning team to represent this region in the finals. It's been since LA in 2005 to have a championship game team at this level.
  12. Let's go to 14 divisions so no one has any advantages. Let's force kids to go to certain in country schools so little Johnny's soccer team isn't affected. Let's have revenue sharing between the boosters and quarterback clubs so no one has a n advantange. If a team gets to many good coaches, they have to fire a coach so a lesser program can hire him. I'm all for putting a stop to cheating, but all this advantage talk is BS. It's called a good program maximizing thier potential.
  13. Agree with that of city comparisons, but pulling kids from 75,000 Putnam County and competing with decent programs like Monterey and Cookeville. Cookeville is the baby of the schoolboard, just look at the facilities they have. Also competing with other traditional sports like and ones like Lacross and Wrestling. Most 4a schools don't even have those sports. Macon population is around 28,000. But MCHS is the main show, RBS is the little sister. The gap and pulling power is way more equal than you think on the surface than just looking at county population numbers. From athletes in Westmoreland, Trousdale, Red Boiling, and Hermitage Springs finding thier way to MCHS. The more you win, the more you draw. Always has been, always will be.
  14. Except for the bleachers st the stadium. Schoolboard needs to address this
  15. That is so true. Hard to beat a good team twice. Game won was UHS at Macon, now UHS will host. This game is as equal as a game can get. Coin flip type game.
  16. 6 min left, Upperman ball up by 14. I think I hear the big lady singing
  17. Let's get it started, who goes to Semi's
  18. Yes they could and UHS would play in 5a with 599 more kids. It's numbers classifications based system.. Counties can't tell other counties how to bus or zone thier schools so sports are exactly even. I am sure MTSU wants the same revenue as Bama but its not reality. 9 state championships has watered down football enough in my opinion.
