After OS played Hampton two years ago when the twins were playing, Hampton played very well. I am picking Oneida by 4 to 6. If the same coach is at Hampton he does a really good job. Marv will be ready and have some good thing for Hampton Good Luck Oneida. Coach Leffew

The played really well for sure. OS played a lot of kids, Not that it would have mattered Oneida was on from the start. Well the Regular season is over and now season 3 begins. It's the one that counts. I don't know what if anything OS can do but hey it's district time and the first game is the biggest. Sunbright will be a tough test for a first round.

I was there, the whole night was called that way. The first half OS had 4 starters on bench due to fouls. I'm not saying it was or was not a foul but I'm just saying it was called with touch fouls all night. The teams had to adjust to the way it was called.

No my daughter would not have gone anywhere that I promise you and she did just fine in high school. three state appearances 1 runner-up, two final fours, College 3 national championship appearances 2 final fours and 1 national runner up. With Jay at Maryville they haven't won anything just yet. If they have as much success as AC did at that time more power to them and maybe they will. My daughter didn't have to chase a coach to have a successful happy career. She was happy and successful wow what a concept.

Someone better really check the rules before these kids have to sit out and miss the year playing volleyball.I'm against transferring but I've been against it for year's. Basketball is some areas is just as bad or worse. K2 is a good club. My daughter play for Jay and Chris personally but didn't leave AC to play for them in school. She did fine playing college volleyball.

You may be right but if the big two get in foul trouble it could be a tough night. Harriman has lost 9 out of its last 10 Region 1st round games. So that's why I picked Coalfield but who knows they may get this one.

I will give it a shot, Grace vs. Oneida - Oneida by 5 Meigs Co vs. Wartburg - Meigs by 10 Coalfield vs. Harriman - Coalfield by 3 Oakdale vs. Midway – Midway by 8 but don’t count out Mr. Snow and his schemes

Went back this morning and changed the numbers. This is Meigs 3rd season in D3 so their sample size is not indicative of their successes in AA. They are and always been a strong program. I understand this means absolutely nothing in the games this year and probably no one really cares either way. All it shows is history.

I just for got. Ill check it tomorrow and add those in. But if my memory serves this is the third year Meigs has been in D3 and from recollection in 13/14 they added 1 state and 1 substate, they lost the district and region finals that year and in 14/15 they won a district title and and lost the region and substate games. So you can add 1 State, 2 substates and 1 district But Ill check tomorrow

1st let me say that D3 might win the whole thing and if they do that's great for them. I put together a few stats that might mean something not sure. I also know from year to year teams change and circumstances are different and comparing team A to team B might not be a good indicator but the strength of a district might have some relevance I'm excluding this year because it's not complete yet. The past 10 year's and there might be a couple AA years in the beginning not sure. Current District 3 Teams included in the stats are Harriman, Tellico Plains, Grace, Midway, Rockwood and Greenback. District 4 teams included are Oliver Springs, Coalfield, Oneida, Wartburg and Oakdale District 3 - 10 District titles District 4 - 10 District titles as well District 3 - 4 Regional titles District 4 - 8 Regional titles District 3 - 7 Substate appearances District 4 - 12 Substate appearances District 3 - 1 State appearances District 4 - 8 State appearances I agree this year D3 is the strongest top to bottom but don't count out D4. If the past has any relevance they still have a shot at salvaging something out of it. GO D4 Oakdale, Wartburg, Coalfield and Oneida

Go get em Kazzy. They said the same things last year about District 4 when OS was in your shoes and they showed them. Oneida is a solid team playing some of their best ball right now. Good luck District 4

I give Oakdale a lot of credit for their win last night. They played a great game hitting 9 three's each one seemed deeper than the other. Kudos to the girls and Coach Snow. It appears to be 2010/2011 season since we missed the region tournament we lost to Wartburg 55 to 47 first round of the district if I recall right. Coach D

If losing the 4 girls from last year’s TSSAA final four run wasn’t enough add losing 86% of your scoring in one lick that surely can't help. If you take their lone senior out of the equation they only had 10 total games of playing time to start the season with. There is talent there and its young talent. The junior class in all reality didn't have that much time in big game experience either and they are included in those 10 games. With that said their schedule early is so hard and it’s that way every year to prepare for the district. They seem to play three seasons every year, pre Christmas with combined records of 151-97, District season (lost to coalfield by 1) and (Wartburg by 2) and Oneida of course and then Tournaments. Don’t give up on them just yet you sometimes have to load a gun before it will fire. Oliver Spring is just reloading with plenty of young talent that's just struggling with the speed, strength and physicality of the high school game. Folks said the same things, when last year’s seniors were freshman and sophomores. They’ll be a tough out when it’s all said and done.

I hope she is doing well and is able to come home today. Saying a prayer for her.

Does anyone have schedules for the girls and boys tournaments this weekend at Anderson Co and Clinton. please provide or tells me where to find them
