  1. Seemed like there were 10 straight possessions in the Sparta/Stone game in the fourth quarter that neither team missed a shot. Great game on both sides
  2. I was at the SMHS/Rhea game. Rhea was on fire the first half and led by 6 with 3:30 to go. SMHS was also without starter Alex Eldridge & that had a big defensive impact. Rhea is extremely dangerous and seems to always have Stone's number. Lady Panthers have to turn around fast and host White County tonight
  3. I think they decide the winner before the region tournaments even start, so they can't factor in state tourney runs I don't think. That can help some athletes and hurt others
  4. In 2018-'19, Class AA Cumberland County's Gracee Dishman averages 29.7 PPG, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game this season while shooting 51.3% from the field. Dishman is a McDonald's All-American nomination this season as well. The Lady Jets are 20-4 this season. In non-district games, Dishman averages 30.5 points per game. Non-district opponents include Class AAA #2 Maryville, Class AAA #10 White County, Class AA #9 Westview, Class A #2 Clarkrange, Stone Memorial (15-5) and Kingston (18-4). Dishman scored 40 on Kingston and 38 most recently on White County. In District 7AA games, Dishman averages 27.2. People continuously bring up how bad District 7AA is as a negative against Dishman, but playing in that district negatively affects her season averages due to limited minutes in blowouts.
  5. Webb beat Stone on a buzzer beater 63-60. Great game
  6. Stone travels to Macon County on Friday
  7. https://www.crossville-chronicle.com/sports/local_sports/johnson-cchs-football-part-ways/article_1398e18e-dc63-11e8-b225-2bd36dd5cefb.html
  8. Stone QB #2 has 2,775 total offensive yards and 40 total touchdowns. Dude can play
  9. Stone brings back 4 starters (two of which are 6'2") and everybody that came off the bench. Capps is committed to Lipscomb and Miller is getting looks all over the place. Lady Panthers should be loaded.
  10. White had a ton of young talent last year if my memory is correct
  11. #10 ranked Stone Memorial QB Thomas Arnold's regular season final stats: Passing: 83-153 for 1,364 yards and 19 TD Rushing: 119 attempts for 1,411 yards and 20 TD 1 Pick-six defensively 2,775 total offensive yards and 40 total Touchdowns Would be nice to get him on the podium. Award is obviously Ballard's and Martin will be there too.
  12. Stone Memorial didn't lose anybody from a year ago so the Panthers should be solid this season
  13. Stone Memorial quarterback Thomas Arnold has the numbers to be a finalist in Class 4A (Cade Ballard obviously has the award in the bag and Stanton Martin will be a finalist too). Arnold has 32 total touchdowns (16, rushing, 15 passing, 1 Pick-6) , 1,054 passing yards and 1,111 rushing yards. Panthers are 7-1 and #10 in the state.
  14. Same here. Its nobody's fault, just not enough athletes in the school. High school enrollment is like 140 students. Happens in small schools
  15. Oakdale doesn't have enough healthy players so they're forfeiting the final three games (Oliver Springs, Greenback, Harriman) on their schedule. Eagles dressed 14 last Friday
