  2. Wrong....again! How many times have you said this? You have no clue.
  3. As usual you have no idea what you are talking about! You have been off the mark since the get go! You have no idea what is going on behind the scenes at Catholic. You have no inside information.
  4. As usual you have no idea what you are talking about! You have been off the mark since the get go! You have no idea what is going on behind the scenes at Catholic. You have no inside information.
  5. LuckyLuther/JM Out of these 7 players you mentioned-there is only one "elite" athlete and he is now at his 4th school in 5 years, in Nashville- Some of the other kids are good players but average for high school, and one of these kids does not even get in the games at the school he plays at now. You are always going to have kids leaving and moving on no matter what school you are at.
  6. If you want to talk about numbers we can do that-but make sure you know the facts. KCHS total enrollment is 690 aprroximately 345 boys-. Maryville HS total enrollment is 1445 approximately 722 boys. Catholic has 80 players on their roster-that's 23% of all boys in the school playing football. Maryville has 99 players that dress out and another 60 that don't dress out-that is 21% of all boys in that school playing football. So know your facts before you say our numbers are down. 85% of all students at Catholic play a sport and/or participate in a school club!! Great numbers-there is no way Maryville has that! As far as game crowds, when it is a team that our school considers a rival-there can easliy be over 300 students at the game-plus players etc-almost 45% of student body. NO WAY Maryville had 700 students or even 100 at home game last Friday! I am still not sure WHO you are talking about that doesn't respect Catholic-except you. And, that is your choice, but I cannot understand why you spend so much time and energy putting the school/team down????
  7. LuckyLuther-time to check our facts again!!! We have had only a few kids, like less thatn 5 leave Catholic over the last 4 years and most of them have actually been non-Catholic. There is nothing to hide. You act as if kids have been leaving in droves and that is simply not true. Our enrollment is at an all-time high! And, Joe Paterno and Jerry Sandusky coached at Penn St-a state university...so not sure where that is coming from. And, again Catholic is a great school and has been a great school since 1932. Once again, you have no facts and no real knowledge of football or KCHS.
  8. What are you talking about-"total access to our program"? And, about Brentwood moving up 3 classifications and dominating-what part of recruit don't you understand???? You say you know a lot about football, but you don't. You only have "talking points". That is why nothing you say makes sense and why you are too afraid to reveal your identity. Daddy ball is over in high school.
  9. Your posts have nothing to do with football, that is the irony. What direction are you talking about and what respect level? #1 Awesome new turf field, #2 new sound system, #3 Top 50 Catholic high school in Nation out of 1250/second time in 8 years, #4 new field house and weight room, #5 90% of Catholic graduates go to a 4 year college, #6 enrollment for Catholic is at capacity for our facilities. Yea, I guess you are right-not much to respect here. Knoxville Catholic has an institutional commitment to providing an integrated and faithful Catholic education across all disciplines and in all areas of student activities.
  10. Uglycoaching: Why don't you tell everyone who you are if you are so sure and so confident? Why hide behind a profile? Why don't you talk to the administration/coaches yourself in person?
  11. What????? Not sure you understand the quote. Sounds good, but the context is not there. Try again. You might want to stick to quotes like, "Go ahead, make my day" or "win one for the gipper" or "I'll be back".
  12. Uglycoaching: Once again, you miss the point. We are not a private school, we are a Catholic school. FACTS-you need to have them-it really helps.
  13. Uglycoaching: know your facts, they will set you free, but first they will make you miserable.
  14. I think you need some real sources, like the administration, the athletic director and the Bishop. Where you are getting your "facts"? There are always whiney and unhappy people in every program-and you are one of those people I guess. There may be a few people that feel the way you do, but it is not the majority, You need to surround yourself with more positive people. Go back and read your posts-you do dog the program, the school and the players by your negative and unproductive comments. We are a Catholic school and we are not going to change the direction of our programs because a few parents are unhappy. You are not a supporter of Catholic or Catholic schools-if you were you would not be posting negative comments anonomously. If you truly want things to change-that is not the way to go about it. It is very immature and passive aggressive and it at the end of the day you are still miserable and unhappy. Our program has not lost any respect-don't know what who you are hearing that from. But, it is simply not true. Here is a quote that I think you should print and keep somewhere you can see it everyday form Charles Swindoll about ATTITUDE: "The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attititude, to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you..we are in charge of our Attitudes." Uglycoaching take a lesson from the players, coaches and true supporters of Catholic and Catholic football and you quit whining and making excuses. Change your attitude.
  15. Uglycoahing you need to find some new sources, maybe you are talking to parents in the visitor's section!...who cares if this kid or that kid threatens to not come to Catholic-oh well, there will be another great kid who does with great parents that want their son to have a Catholic education. We want the kids who WANT to be at Catholic-and I think this 8th grade team is a special group of players who have played together for quite some time. The majority will come to Catholic next year by the way and will not require special deals. You have too much free time on your hands it sounds like to me.
  16. uglycoaching: You have no clue about Catholic football or Catholic High School for that matter. Our enrollment is up, giving is up and we have all the students enrolled we can possibly handle. We do not have 60 kids on the team-we have 80 and all 80 are hard workers and good kids who never give up. There is huge respect and admiration for Catholic HS and Catholic football in the community. Game attendance is at an all-time high. Our student fans are awesome-filling the student section all the way to the top of the bleachers for the first time ever! And, we do have pride in our school and always have! Not only when we are winning, like you. We have an awesome alumni base and alumni support. Over half of the new school was actually paid for by money raised by alumni-and by the way we only have 6000-so you do the math if you can, that says ALOT right there. We have been around since 1932 and there is a very devout alumni population who have been the driving force behind everything that is Catholic High. This team this year is a group of tough competitors that never give up for your information. It is negative people like you who try to drag our program down-what you don't realize is everyone knows who you are too. And, we are all sick of your negative attitude. Go somewhere else-you are not tough enough to be at Catholic. You have been watching too much ESPN. We are a school of 700-playing schools 2 and 3 times our size. We should not be in that division and everyone knows it! But, we are and are kids do not whine about it. They go out and try every week, and so do the coaches. Catholic is a great school and the majority of parents send there kids there first and foremost for a Catholic education. That is where you are missing the boat. By the way, being in the tougher district has helped our program and put us on the map. We now have in town rivalries with schools other than Webb. People care who we play every week-with Webb no one cares who they play-except the week they play Catholic. Webb's biggest game is Catholic. That is not the case with Catholic. All our games matter and every team we play is tough. Uglycoaching-you need to quit whining-be productive and help with the program and support our school, players and coaches-that is what a true fan does. Your comments about our CYF feeder program are baseless as well. CYF was designed as a feeder program for the highschool team and it has been and is a huge success. It is no secret that it costs money to go to Catholic-and CYF parents know this. If they want to send their kids to Catholic bad enough-they will figure it out. No one player going or not going to Catholic is a deal breaker. Last I checked, football was a team sport! So-ugly coaching, go find something productive to do with your time. If you are so unhappy leave, we will be just fine without you.
