  1. Alycia did play and scored against Summertown, not sure why she was left out of the box scores. It should be a good game tonight...
  2. Joseph Pevahouse from Perry Co. is hands down the best Class A 3-point shooter. He's hit 78 3-pointers in the 20 games reported and is averaging 3.9 per game. He also had an impressive 10 3-pointers in a recent game vs. Mt. Pleasant. ...and he's only a junior at that!
  3. I think this will be a very interesting game!! Perry County is without Senior Kazeray Dabbs, but proved they could take care of business as they defeated Summertown Friday night. If you ask me this could be anybody's ballgame, but PC sure seems to be on fire lately!! I believe it will boil down to whoever wants it the most!! Go Lady Vikings!
  4. Class A: Kazeray Dabbs from Perry County. She has been something to reckon with on the court. She is averaging over 17 points per game and leading her team in rebounds. She also led her team with 29 points to defeat Collinwood, who had not been beaten in the district until this meeting. She also has a great character and is one of the most athletic individuals in District 12A. She has built her talent and worked hard every step of the way.
  5. We are praying for you Kazeray! I know Kazeray and her ankle is not broken, just sprained. Be sure and don't count Perry County out just yet!! They have a lot of talent and Kazeray will be motivating them every step of the way until she's able to return! Thanks everyone for praying for her! She is strong and will be back soon!! Any college will be lucky to have her and I think she will have a long, successfull b-ball career!!
  6. I disagree with the last comment. Perry County had Class A Miss Basketball Kristal Edney and she is tearing it up in college. I feel that Miss Basketball is about a lot of things, not just a winning team, but a great player all around. A person who shows great athletic ability, good sportsmanship and someone who can boost her team and lead her team as far as they can go. Unfortunately you win some and lose some, but I don't feel that one person (Miss Basketball) can determine the entire season for her team!
  7. Kazeray Dabbs from Perry County should be in the running. She's averaging over 17 points per game and has led her team this season. She recently scored 29 points to lead her team to a victory over Collinwood, who had not been defeated in District 12A. She's is all around a great player and one of the most athletic I've seen in Class A! Not to mention, she is also has a great character and is a team player!
  8. I agree 100%. This was a very accurate summary of the game. I agree that the referees let both team get away with quite a bit, but they by no way favored Perry County. The fouls were like 9-3 sometime in the first half with 9 being against PC, so I don't think PC was favored. They just played hard and came out with a good win!! These top 4 teams will be something to reckon with come region! Kazeray Dabbs & Becca Leegan led their team respectively with Dabbs scoring 29, 22 of those points in the first half, along with 4 3-pointers and Leegan scoring 20! Collinwood had 3 girls in double scoring: Daniel 23, Andrews 17 & Rich with 12.
  9. That's correct!! District 12A is definitely at Perry Co. this year!! Region is at Mt. Pleasant! Dabbs has not signed yet! She has been looked at by several schools, but has not made a formal decision as of today. Probably holding out to the end of the season.
  10. This will be a really good game as usual between these two tough teams!! I do believe Perry Co. girls are much better than last year!! With a load of seniors and some really talented freshman stepping up, these girls have really stepped it up! Good luck to both teams!!
  11. Kazeray Dabbs #30 - Perry County She hasn't been picked up yet, but various schools are watching her!! Don't see her making a decision till mid-season at least! If she plays as good as last year, it will be one awesome year for her!
  12. Don't forget about Perry County's Junior Kazeray Dabbs who has been scoring in double digits consistently and has most recently fractured her nose, but still keeps on going, leading her team with 17 points this past Tuesday Night. Others to mention would be Courtney Treadwell making 3's left to right, and Becca Leegan & Jasmine Dixon holding their own as well!
  13. Kari May was an amazing little girl. She was beautiful on the inside and out and touched so many people's lives. Her dreams of becoming that star basketball player are just beginning for her up in Heaven. I thank God for the chance to have known Kari and my prayers are with her family as they go through this trying time. We must all remember that God has chosen this special child for a reason, and now she is with her mother at peace. Kari will live on in our hearts and minds forever. WE BELIEVE #22 ALWAYS & FOREVER!!
  14. Couldn't have said it better myself! Congrats Alecia!
