I know Boyd has had quality wins over Valley and Notre Dame, and quality losses to Christian Heritage (of GA) and to CCS, but they have lost to Grace twice. But maybe Grace will have a hard time beatimng them three times. I don't think so though.

I don't know. I just don't think Boyd has what it takes. They aren't very good.

Don't count them out. The right combination of a hot streak/luckiness could vault them into the region final. I don't think they will, but it isn't impossible. Right now, you gotta go with a tossup of Grace/CCS/Valley and probably between Grace/CCS.

I was at the game but did not pay much attention to when he fell in there. Redand white, is it possible that he didn't get "mugged" but maybe just one person hit or kicked him? I'm not accusing anyone of anything.. I don't know and am just asking a simple question.

I hope you are joking. Davidson is ranked 79th on Strenght plus Success. I know rankings aren't everything, but please, they are not even in the top 50. And these rankings are based on facts not opinions.

South Pitt. is 2 hours from Chattanooga. But you are right, Temple will probably win.

I talked to a friend who knows Temple's coach and they said Temple's coach said they both had 28. When it is two brothers, the paper might get mixed up and gives one brother's bucket to the other accounting for the 30 & 26 they had. It might be right, but I assume Temple's coach had the right stats.

they are very much starting to look up. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them in sub-state. They don't have what it takes to win it all after losing Van Horn and Parsons though.

I know you probably aren't trying to rub it in, but it came across a little that way. The games between these two schools have been bad enough. I think the two schoold should try to mend the relationship a bit. Don't both schools claim to be Christian? Both Grace and Temple people, consider that before you post anything else.

I agree. It would be greatly appreciated by all involved parties if no one mentioned it.

I know you weren't talking to me, but I think it's a toss up between CCS, Valley, and Grace. Whoever is hot will make it. Earlier I would've never said Grace, but They are coming together after a good showing against Temple. But it's so close between the three, it's impossible to guess. Don't laugh at me, but don't count out South Pitt. either. They're a real dark horse I think.

If you were not at the game, please disreguard this post. It is total crap. Refs can have no effect on a 17 point ballgame. Maybe a 2 or 3 point ballgame. But not a 17 point ballgame.

Temple and a toss up of CCS, Valley, and Grace. Temple beats Westmoreland, or Clay co., or Friendship in sub state. The other 3A team probably loses to Pickett Co.

Temple wins by 17. A little closer than the score indicates. Real story is Grace's fans disgusting lack of class.

No offense intended but Temple would destroy a zone. They pass better than any team in Chattanooga. They would pick it apart inside and out. Same thing with a box and 1. I haven't seen Grace run one of those anyway. (Maybe they do and I haven't seen it?) I don't recommend letting Skogin shoot 3s. I guess I'd try face guarding him (probably wouldn't work because they have four or five other weapons) and trapping (actually very hard to trap the best ball handler in Chatt) but those are the only thing I can think of.

Great point. The xfactor for Grace is Diltz. He could make things miserable for Temple with scoring and charges. No xfactor really for Temple thoguh. Just play at the level theyve been playing and they will win. All they gotta do is realize Grace isnt a total pushover and show up to play.

If that happens I can already guarantee he will be getting to the bucket all night long.

Excellent point about about what Temple needs to do defensively. Yes, Grace needs to do those three things defensively, but tell me how. Is it even possible? Do they have anyone who is fast enough to stop Caleb's driving? Is anyone good enough to stop his little brother inside? Outrebounding them is a slight possibility but also hard. Mouw played tremendous against Pickett. Pleaase explain how they can do these three.

Since I started this thread I want to try and direct it a new way. Let's get away from just who will win and by how much (Most everyone agrees that Temple will probably win a closer, tougher game this time) Let's start analyzing specific matchups and x-factors that could be interesting Tuesday night.
