  1. And as far as the lights, how convenient that they waited until just after the game was over to go out. Maybe they did malfunction, but the timing was awfully suspicious
  2. Of course Lebanon was excited after they won the game. We all know how bad Lebanon football has been for the last few years. Last year, with a new coach, they went 5-6, and everyone was excited because they were heading in the right direction. Can you imagine if Trousdale went 5-6? Everyone in Hartsville would be pissed. Lebanon’s players especially juniors and seniors, enjoy every win because they don’t play for a program that expects to win every year, not yet anyway. Hopefully they will get to that point with Coach Gentry. But until then, heck yeah 6a Lebanon is going to celebrate beating little ole 2a Trousdale co.
  3. He's just a high school kid frustrated that his team is down and his high school career is about to be over. Tonight isn't a true example of his usual demeanor
  4. It's pretty chippy on both sides out there. Especially early on when they game was still within reach.
  5. I like how Maryville tried to score again before half with 29 sec left up 42-3. Real cool.
  6. I think the people who are picking Cookeville to win or play it close are trying to get Rebel fans riled up. And by golly it's working. So sensitive haha
  7. I guess you could argue that Region 3 is tougher than Region 2 since they went 6 of 8 against region 4 in the playoffs. But THIS YEAR regions 2 & 3 were better than 1 & 4 as proved by head to head match ups in the first round of the playoffs. Not much to argue when you have head to head matchups. But just because a region is better from top to bottom doesn't mean the best team in region 1 or 4 wouldn't also be the best team in region 2 or 3.
  8. No one in the state besides Cookeville's players, coaches, and fans think Cookeville has a chance to win this game so stop playing like Maryville is the underdog here. They clearly are not.
  9. The problem is that we've seen your opinion in every Cookeville thread since he transferred. We get it. For example, Kisler agreed with you on the matter, and that's perfectly fine. The difference is that Kisler let his opinion be heard and moved on like normal posters. You bring it up time after time after time in an attempt to down Cookeville and the kid.
  10. That's strange because you sure don't mind dragging a teenager's name into a coacht thread and bashing him every chance you get.
  11. It's not your opinion that is the problem. It is the fact that you bring it up in every thread possible to try to down the kid. We get that you don't think he is worthy of his rating or offers. We got it. Personally, I tend to agree with recruting sites and SEC football coaches over the opinion of a coacht persona that has some vendetta out against Cookeville. I'm guessing you never saw Jalen Ramsey or Josh Malone before their senior years. Ramsey had 2 int's, 457 total yards, and 8 touchdowns as a junior. Malone had a interception, 509 total yards, and 8 touchdowns as a junior. I just don't see what these people see in those guys. UCMan, continue trying to instigate on here. You are about as bad as a coach who hopes one of his former players fails and tries to drag his name through the mud on a message board. Then that person wonders why individuals want to leave their program. Classy.
  12. Internet tough guy, is this a threat? Also, we aren't all over the place on who you are. You coach receivers at Wilson Central.
  13. The rumor isn't true, and you aren't the coach that left Central recently. Stop trying to hide behind that. He was a defensive coach. You coach wide receivers.
  14. Thank you! 8-3 is alot better than 4-6. It felt good going to the playoffs. I like how you point out the Rhea County game. Cookeville lost by one point to a team that went to the 5-A state semifinals. That is definitely a sign of a bad program. If that is bad, what do you say about a school that went 4-6? Don't bring up strength of schedule either. Cookeville and Wilson Central had 3 common opponents. Cookeville beat two of them. Wilson Central beat one. So, that makes that argument invalid.
  15. WCP we all know that you coach football at Wilson Central. You can deny it all you want to and I know you will, but you just need to get over the fact that Angel and Vic left because the football program at WC is a joke. They struggle every year when they have talent that is at least as good as, probably better, than most teams they play. Why do you continue to post in a board about Cookeville football? They aren't in your district and your "son" that you claim played for WC has graduated. So stop getting on a Cookeville thread and spewing your rumors bc you're still salty that a kid left your program. How would you like it if people went around running kids names that play for WC through the mud?
