  1. That is a really good video of the game showing highlights from both teams. What a great season and good luck to both of the final two teams Friday night!
  2. From our side of the state, congrats to the Mustangs. But a shout out to NCS is definitely deserved for going as far as they did. Now we can look forward to seeing what players earn district honors. I have a feeling NCS and CA will dominate that list! So until next season on the gridiron...see you on the basketball court =)
  3. Updates please. The link froze up and I can't see what is happening...
  4. Game is not over yet boys so don't count NCS out just yet! I will say the Mustangs look good so far if they can stop fumbling!
  5. With all this certainty from Mustang fans that they got this...I think I'm going to go with NCS for the win. Too much trash talking going on here...so I see an upset on the horizon and I'm not even a NCS fan! But even I have to admit, the Eagles are on a roll, on fire, and yes, very well coached. Please keep these posts updated Friday night with the score for those of us who can't make the long drive to Paul Ward Stadium.
  6. Awww...I'll take you saying I'm a hoot as a compliment as I am trying to be funny! From here on out, time to root for our side of the state. So good luck NCS, represent us well.
  7. Sorry boys to be offline for a while...had to fix dinner for the husband and kids. Now that the dishes are done, time to get back to trash talkin with the big boys!!!
  8. So if your team it out you can't post or have an opinion? Is that the boys only rule? Oh, now I get it it. All you Daddy's living through your kids. So why don't you pull your pants up over your beer belly and get over the fact that you aren't out on that football field anymore!!! And before you get upset that a girl just stood up to a boy, I'll sign off and try to remember my place, in the kitchen right?
  9. Not whining...just stating a different point of view. You know, a true champion would be a little more humble. But I'm not surprised at the words and actions of someone like you NCSDad1962. Seriously can't wait for the 40 weeks to pass and face NCS again. And win or lose, as long as it is done on a level playing field, I will accept whatever outcome.
  10. Wow - this is a total repeat of what happened in round 2 against CA. CA had a TD that was in but the ref from several yards away called it out. But game film clearly showed otherwise. Also, totally agree with your statement "to be a religious school they sure played dirty."
  11. Wow - that sounds so familiar. Exactly what the Eagles got away with in Round II. On a positive note for NCS...this win shows that this side of the state is better than what most people on these blogs want to believe.
  12. And from this side of the state...Phillip Booker, RB from NCS should be considered.
  13. Also Recevier Clay Goad from CA deserves consideration. He is the or at least at the top of the total receiving yards total for the season. Great kid and great athlete.
  14. Yes, Jacob Rugen from CA should be considered because as a new out of state transfer to the program and as a junior starter at QB/LB, he had over 1000 rushing and 1500 passing. On a couple games where CA was up, Jacob only played half the game so his stats would have been even higher had they kept him in. Great kid - extremely hard worker, great character and always leads by example.
  15. And I wish we could stay on topic but the minute anyone says anything about NCS that their fans, parents, etc. don't like, they get all upset and start being downright nasty. I wish they would get a life and realize this is a blog where the point is to express an opinion, start a conversation, debate, etc.
