Hardin Valley looks very strong. They remained undefeated (10-0-4) by beating Bearden and Knox West in the same week. Farragut looks like they have improved after beating two strong teams handily (Bearden 6-1 and Oak Ridge 6-0)

The Karns-Halls game will be a battle to see who will go 1-9 and who will go 0-10 lol

Yeah, I don't think Karns is as bad as their record indicates. I think they will win a couple games this year. They got beat badly by West and HVA, but I think they have improved. They gave a good Powell team all they could handle!

Even though Farragut has played a tough schedule, they still have only won 4 out of 8 games. I wouldn't say they are the best team in knox

Is Hardin Valley the real deal this year? After beating William Blount handily and beating South Doyle last night, they are getting a lot of hype. Do you guys think they will be a competitor this year?

What teams will be good in district 4AAA this year? I think Bearden will be the best for sure, but I'm not sure about anybody else. Farragut is always good so they will be towards the top as usual. District 4AAA: Bearden Farragut Hardin Valley Heritage Lenoir City Maryville West William Blount

Well I've heard HVA lost only one starter from last years team that was decent. Plus, I believe 4AAA to be an easier district than 3AAA when it comes to basketball. I have only seen a couple of the teams play so my rankings could be way off. I watched HVA beat a good Halls team twice last year and stick with notorious Karns twice with only 1 senior, so that's what I am going off of. 4AAA will be a weak district this year though. I have seen Maryville play in summer and they will be good. Same old story with the other two Blount teams...should finish at the bottom. Bearden and West are the two that I don't know much about. Not sure who they have lost or gained from the previous season.

Hardin Valley will still be a contender this year. They have ZERO seniors on their team, but they have club players and will still be a competitor. While they lost some of their outstanding players from last year's team, HVA will still be strong. Karns will be strong if they use Sievers correctly. I agree that CAK and Farragut are the best teams in the area.

Who are the teams to beat in district 3-AAA? I heard AC, HVA, and Oak Ridge were pretty good, but haven't heard much about the others.
