I somewhat stand corrected. Found out that during both our girls games there were only 17 kids showed up on the bus. If thats the case I dont blame them for not taking the bus and shame on our community for not making a better appearance. Hope people show up today since it is spring break and all. GOOD LUCK BOYS!

Well there is a huge community support but its mainly toward the girls and these boys are seeing it now. This is just hear say but I heard during region there wasn't money to bring the bus....kinda crap excuse to me. And there was money for the girls to get the bus both of their state games but this is boys first appearance in long time. All Kids are out of school but no bus to take them. Parents still have to work. Just aggravates me to no end that this happens every year to our boys. This is a meaningless gripe on my part but just goes to show the girls side get pretty much everything. Its been this way for years cause they are state contenders every year. Win or lose I'm proud of our guys. They have done something no one has done since the days of Buck and Howard. Just hope they play hard and fight like they have all year.

Definantly getting ready and nervous for tomorrow. Boys have fought and clawed all year for this moment and they are finally getting it. it pains me to see the way their own county is treating them. This is first time since the 90's that our boys are going to the boro and do they get to bring a pep bus??? NO! Why? who knows. pretty pathetic i think. I dont know for sure but i almost guarantee the girls took pep bus to both of their tourney games. I never seen one in the Region tourneys either. I hope you boys use this tomorrow. The girls aren't the only team at Clarkrange High School anymore. substate 3 out of 5 years and a state appearance...The boys are starting to get recognized some...Good luck guys.

Yes that's our big guy. He's been very solid during these tourney runs but gave been in foul trouble on occasions by playing against smaller guys

Most of this fame will be decided on Baldwin and Edwards. If Baldwin stays out of four trouble we will be in the game until the end. If he don't its going to be a long night. No one else on the team has the size to crash the boards against wartburg. Edwards is going to have to have a strong game. He might be the difference maker in the end. He's got to continue his hit streak from Boyd or were in trouble. Its going to be exciting and fun to watch.

I don't know anything about lc except just what I read on here. Watertown is a very good team. They killed us in region. Which that was partly horrible shooting night and partly because Watertown ran us to death. They are very talented team. Their pg is one of the best I've seen. He can handle the ball and shoot from anywhere on the floor and very very unselfish. If there is an open man while he's driving he will find him. They for one kid that plays the best man d I've seen in a while. I ain't seen many people slow our pg down but his constant pressure did to a point. They play an outstanding defense, thrive off turnovers and run the floor but if you slow the game down they can very well play the half court just as well. I would love to watch this game, unfortunately we got Thursday draw. Good luck to you guys. I'll BD pulling for Watertown especially if crange gets put out early.

you guys will have an outstanding team next year. Should easily repeat and do better than this year. Having zero seniors on the floor and to play the way the played. Outplayed us for 3 quarters, and was the better overall team for most of the game. You guys at Boyd difinantly will have a lot to look forward to for next year. The atmosphere in that gym was one of a kind. I've not heard many fans that loud at the end of that game when we were trying to seal it with free throws. Great game to your kids. I'm obviously pulling for crange. If you like underdog story then this is it. Finish fourth in district. Had to cone back in 2ot just to win first round of region. Second round played a district goe that had beat us twice already and was ranked in state. Went yo Watertown in region championship and lsyed a big egg and got embarassed. On to Chattanooga to play a favored Boyd buchsnnon. Down 8 in fourth and only allow one point in the fourth to win by four. Great story with kids with huge hearts. They are hot right now. Would love to see them make some noise. Other than them I'm partial to lc mainly because I'm hooked after the first round in state last yr in state. AA Livingston academy AAA blackmon. Like to see them finish what they started

Oh I was in no way implying any cheating. I just didn't think it seemed right. I've always known of LCD being a top team in the state. I even found myself cheering for them after the btw game in the tourney last year. Sounds like they have just won the important games they have had to win.

Does anyone know what's up with lake co? I seen they won and from what I've always seen in previous years they are always good. But a 7 win season? Is that legal it it does coacht gave something screwed up? Nit downing them at all just seems out of place to me. Regardless is hate to run into them next week.

They may not but I think they have a really good chance. They have played one of the tougher schedules. They only have like 4 games (not district) that are single a. They have played 12 AA and AAA games. I think they have the heart and will to get it done. They played Grace Babtist very very close last year and probably could've won it minus a crucial turnover (walk call). Granted it being on the road will be tough but obviously i'm pulling for em.

No one giving any love to Crange... I love it. the way it's been all year for those boys. I think they have been underdogs throughout the history of the school. Which them not having much of a big history may be why. Definantly ready for tonight. As for my 2 cents worth. Hampton over Grace Christian wartburg beats Cloudland Watertown over Grace babtist easily CRange over Boyd MT. Pleasand over Community White House over Richland LC over MAHC Humbolt over TCA Good luck to all these guy for still being here. CRange aint made it to State in many many years and to my knowledge have only been 3 years ever. So hopefully the ball falls or way tonight.

alright i didn't know how it was being done. I know last year I had to get to Grace a couple hours early and get a few tickets for a few people i knew was coming. I had planned on kinda doing the same thing this year just making sure before i made the drive there.

Is that tickets sell out for you guys? there no way most of us from Crange can be there by noon? Just curious on this. Thanks

We played them last year in substrate and they had a pretty decent team. They lost easily their best if nit top two or three players. I know you can't go off records but before tourneys started they only had 9-10 wins in a region that seems to be way down this year. I don't see you guys losing to this team expecially since your hosting. Good luck Monday.

Oh i learned my lesson about being early last year. Like i said earlier we had to travel to Grace for substate and that is the size of our elementary school gyms. I was there about 2 hours early just to make sure I had a seat.

Expect a team with a lot of heart. We just come off a horrible loss to watertown and got embarassed so should come out with a lot of passion to play. Last year We went to grace and lost a very close game in the sectionals so most of the boys have been here before and know what they are in for. I dont think either team should be overlooked. Crange is always left out of the "best in the state" or the "top teams in the state" so no one ever knows what we look like. Record isn't the best but we play a ton of AA and AAA schools throughout the year. Most games that aren't district games area gains AA or AAA. It should be a fun game to watch. I'll definantly be there and ready.

I'm not agreeing with anything as far as the fouls. the game was called crappy all the way around. Watertown beat us to death and ran us up and down the floor. When you go 6 deep you'll never beat a team like that. But to say PC was the best in the district??? I really hope you are joking. They had to play the play in game against monterey to just get in our district tourney. how are they anywhere close to the best? JCounty and Crange were tied and it went to a coin flip to see who was #2 and #3 in the district tourney. PC was pretty bad all year. CRange may not have been the best in the district but they are still playing. they won when it mattered. I dont see anyone else in the district still going. Just like last year. Where was PC when CRange was in chattanooga playing sectionals? Again i'm not taking anything awaty from Watertown. They are a great ball team and it showed. But to say PC was best "hands down" in our district is a huge disrespect to us, Clay, and Jackson Co.

Best of luck to you guys as well. I'm about positive if you guys play like they have been you'll be playing in a couple of weeks in the boro. Clarkrange laid a big egg last night and couldn't get a shot to fall if their lives depended on it. I'm glad they decided to lay it last night instead of waiting til monday night. I don't think it is possible for them to shoot like that again.

That would basically eliminate at least one substate game. Which do substate games not jump from $5 to $7 a game? I'm pretty sure TSSAA will get its share of that cut. I see kinda what you are saying but I enjoy it the way it is. It does make it competitive and gives some other schools a shot at actually going to state. Like Watertown this year, and CRange. They lost the Championship but still have an outside chance. I hate the drive to Chattanooga but its worth it to me.
