  1. I was hoping someone from DB would post since you've seen us both. Big #9 caught several balls Friday night so we may be turning him loose. Thanks for your perspective. Also since we played DB we have had a freshman emerge as a big play threat. He's tiny but he can fly. I'll bet he's the fastest player on the field every time we play.
  2. Keep listening to the complainer and be ready to get shocked. The game has passed him by? Ha! He and OR are 16-2 in their last 18 games, what's your coach's record? I expect a good game but I thought your fans had more class than your post suggests.
  3. After watching the Rhea highlights I'm quite worried. Their line play will cause us problems if we don't play real good. I'm not sure we can stop them and I'm less sure that we'll move the ball and score enough to win. Rhea is faster than Ooltewah! I would never have dreamed that! Go cats !!
  4. This is great for Tee, great for the program, great for his teammates, and great for Oak Ridge!
  5. I saw what you're talking about. I've never seen any coach get that fired up about anything! The players must be crazy about him. They act like it. I saw him go up and hug number 2 on the bench one time and number 2 seemed like the happiest guy on earth, I saw him get mad at 56 and 78 but they hugged him later. I do not want him mad at me. I also saw him on the Blitz. He's a WILD MAN!!!!
  6. I noticed Gaddis's eyes too. I wouldn't want to fight him. He would probably hypnotize me with his eyes and then whip my a--!! LOL I would love to have been in that locker room!
  7. I saw some of practice today and I saw no signs of any implosion. It looked good and spirited. There may be a problem with a runner or two, but it's much ado about nothing.
  8. I like the way our defense is playing. It's much improved over last year. I was concerned about our offense and although it's improving, I still hope it gets much better.
  9. I loved the game but where is the playback? I want to love it again and again and again!
  10. DB was lucky to win. Farragut looked to be the better team. DB got lucky on the long pass late and pulled it out. Farragut was the better team.
  11. No I didn't say that. I said would you rather Gaddis had NOT won one here like Stevens and Blade (they didn't win one here). Your fascination with what Blade did at other schools is beyond weird. My point is that you are so anti-Gaddis and pro-Blade that it's silly. You're happier that Blade won a championship elsewhere than you are that Gaddis won one here in OR. It doesn't matter when it happened to me, just that it happened. You make light of the fact that it was 23 years ago. Who has won one since? Lussier? No Stevens? No Blade? No You're the only person that I know who is not glad we won the championship in 1991, and you're reason is strange....because Gaddis was the coach. If he never won one here....like Blade, he would be better I guess. That's your logic but I just don't see it.
  12. Blade is a good coach but he's on the list with your buddy Stevens.......he's a former OR coach. Explain to me what your goal is here when you take shots at our coach. Would you rather Gaddis had NOT won a state championship here like Stevens and Blade?
  13. Papa Bounder, can you please intervene? This foolishness must stop.
  14. Exactly......according to you, and YOU are the authority on this guy...RIGHT?
  15. I'll go on record as supporting the idea that if Middleton shows up here at OR that he be given a chance in both football and basketball. If he screws it up, then he screws it up, but I believe he should be given the right to screw it up at his new school, or hopefully straighten himself up.
  16. That appears to be the case. I had occasion to meet and talk to him briefly a few months ago and I'm sure what's not to like.
  17. That same kid is back on the basketball team. I guess Green is worried about his place in OR basketball history and having the arena named after him. What a joke!
  18. I kind of agree with you Cats and heres my two cents worth. I don't think we have a good QB yet. I think we have some pretty good ones. I don't care who it is but I just hope we decide and not work all of them like last year.
  19. I'm saying that we are deep at running back. We lost Luster and picked up the kid from Maryville who is better than Luster plus we have two more who are about as good or better. If Luster was a lineman we would miss him a lot more because we don't have as many good linemen..
  20. I've watched practice most days and the QB who is the most consistent is Fadneck. The runners look good and the offense overall seems better. The defense has some holes and there runner is explosive and ran through us. We got beat over the secondary on a long pass and we didn't tackle well in the secondary. Heard Luster was kicked off and we won't miss him at running back.
  21. The QBs did throw pretty well. I think just passing the ball there is a best, a worst, and a good
