The Bears are improved & if the O starts throwing and catching more consistent they will almost be dangerous vs most teams not in the top 10. Thats a big if because we have only seen flashes at this point. GoBears!

If Bears can run the Ball they could win. But if its up to them to do a lot of throwing and catching it's anybody's ballgame. Least productive Bears offense in a very long time. QB play has just not been consistent enough and too many drops when the QBs find their man. D is good enough to win so if the Bears win the special teams battles they could pull this out. Winner makes playoffs and I like the Bears at home on Senior night. This team has not quit and honestly they are 10 points away from being exactly where the coaches probably thought they would be. GoBears!

The Bears may no longer punt. It has not been successful. I think they should just go on 4th everytime if nothing else it stops the return man from scoring. Thank goodness the Real DB does not have Tee higgins.

Can the Smoky Bears find a way to get back in the region race? I think the Defense will keep it close. Its been a tough season and this is a pretty good edition of the Blazers but I think the Bears are going to pull off the upset. They MUST fix the punt team and start catching more balls but I think they will. This win is the only glimmer of hope for a better than 4th region finish. If they lose its 4th place at best although I guess making the playoffs would be an achievment for this squad. If they win 1st or 2nd is still possible. I know its a long shot but Florida was up 21 and I could just feel the Vols were still going to turn it around so I am riding the checker board wave into the SC homecoming game. I agree with you 100% the Offensive play calling at Mowest is and has been bad.

After watching Mowest last night I dont think they are a threat in the playoffs. I also think Cleveland will make a big comeback. OR should be the favorite but I dont think they have the best coaches. OR should have been there last year. Region 1 will be lucky to get out of round 1 with any teams left.

True they do have a fancy silver ball. No offense though and the coaches still working 4 and 5 wr sets like they have athletes all over the field. OR would win this game with out playing offense. Everyone will cry about the other school opening but this season is a Result of coaching changes over the last 3 years. Steve Brewer stands on the sideline most every game maybe he will make a comeback. The current head man is a great x/o tough old school football kind of guy but his people skills are not geared towards selling the program. People just dont respond favorably to that tough minded approach these days. They will dress 35-40 guys on Friday & thats not going to work in 5A. GB

Why keep comparing your program to the East Tn Allstars? They have multiple try outs per year sponsored by TSSAA. They probably have a few sullivan and washington county kids. DB needs to fire some of these rogue supporters and start their own regional try out system its the only way. Open zone has ruined it for everyone in 6A thats why my Smoky Bears moved down to 5A. 5A is a level playing field 6A is all about the AllStars all they care about is TV ratings and chick fillet sandwiches?!?!? Got to know were you come from Tribe fans all yall are is recycle cans with frenchy fries and a top notch horn section. You will never compete with dead end BBQ and foothills mall.
