Bottom line is winning...it is evident by their players' actions all year...as long as you can win, you can do whatever. I think it is a problem from the top of the administration's acceptance to the sportwriters' blind eye. It will catch up to them.

Yeah I heard that last year too..then the Unaka rangers eventually wound up being the champs.....For a school that recruits, I feel they can match the west's style of play.

Only by 17...they put their 3rd team in the end of the 3rd quarter. They could have beaten you by 40 if Coach would have wanted too. WC will be lucky not to be down 25 at half. WC better run a stall, if they want to have a minscule chance of only getting blown out by 25. lol

I still think it was a payoff. No way that team beats Peabody straight up. We'll see who is calling off the dogs this year. After that shafting last year, I hope peabody meets Clarkrange..the lady tide will drop 90 on you 4 sure!!!

I don't even know where Unaka is....I am familiar with the Peabody team and their starters, with the exception of the token white kid who usually plays about 10 to 15 minutes...per game. I am simply saying that Peabody will run/roll over Unaka probably by 30. They are sporting a Mr. Basketball finalist, even though he wasn't even player of the year in his own district, and a supporting cast (if not benched for inner school disciplinary problems) and they should have an easy time with Unaka.

I don't agree with that statement, I never remember Ezell Harding being a power team in Single A...maybe only with the Nashville media...that is what happens when these little weak private/christian schools really start believing the press...what a joke to us..lol

Why not have open division tournaments across the state...so the best 8 A,AA,AAA teams can "really" meet for the championship week..instead of 2 good western teams and 2 to 4 charitable teams..??

I think Temple may slide by to the 2nd round..and then they are bounced like a basketball on Lexington street in Trenton...Peabody will roll...easily!!!

Mt. Juliet is probably the ONLY team in the state tourney that could beat Peabody..and that is not a given...I'll give MT Juliet ups for their schedule and the way they have handled it..I'm talking about 1 coached teams though..lol

I didn't count them out til I saw their schedule..they played a much harder schedule last year...they cup caked it this year and got lucky in the regions and substate...Unaka will be U-gone-a after next Wednesday....

Luckily for GC, Humboldt will probably be a weaker team in double A than GC is. 2nd round...GC is gone...sad but true..
