  1. yeah, that’s the scary part. only losing one senior and assuming guys bump up next year, they already have someone in the room right now more than capable of stepping in and competing right away
  2. I actually did a lot better than i was expecting. 24/28 finalists (86%) including all 14 predicted champions in the final 69/84 medalists (82%) including a perfect 6 for 6 at 106, 120, 145, 160, and 182 almost perfect 9 of 10 teams in the top 10 right now (thanks Science Hill lol) not too shabby! Ill try to get a “Finals” preview put together tonight
  3. yeah, i’m pretty neutral. it would be nice to see someone else on top, but can’t hate them just cause their good. i do enjoy stirring the pot a little every now and then though
  4. easiest way to get a hot thread, go against cleveland people
  5. lol “and if you don’t knowwwww, now you know”
  6. yeah, i’m assuming missed weight but don’t know for sure. a few potential medalists too. sad
  7. handful of guys pulled from the tournament this morning.
  8. i was also thinking 6, 4, and 2. All 3 have an opportunity for more though. Dobyns should get 3 with a possibility of a 4th. Bradley likely has atleast 3 with a possibility of 5. Then you have Science Hill, Oakland, Blackman, Brentwood, Nolensville, Clarksville, and Maryville all trying to play spoiler with multiple semifinalists. Definitely should be an exciting day!
  9. Summit leads the team race at the end of day one. 5 teams currently in the mix, the 5 you’d expect. just 3.5 points separate Summit from third place Wilson right now. i hope they can stay right there with Cleveland
  10. summit showed up. 7 guys in the semis. only Cleveland has more with 8.
  11. not an upset, but Todd gets revenge from state duals on Cooper
  12. i know. and i agree with that. but i’m just saying it should’ve never gotten to that caution. whether Bosken gets another stall call and Ford wins, or Bosken gets the escape in OT and wins, either way, poor officiating tainted what was a pitchers dual of a match. i just don’t like when the result is taken out of the kids hands like that.
  13. horrific officiating. Bosken stalled for 3 minutes straight and got 1 whole stalling call. Then the whole “no loss of control” when Bosken got away and they weren’t even touching. Sucks that it ended that way. It never should’ve even gotten to that point
  14. Russell Ford got Hosed. Bosken stalled the entire third period and overtime. literally didn’t even move a muscle but somehow got one stall call at the very end of the third period. Then Ford loses on a caution. it’s sad. Refs definitely goofed on a control call in OT when Bosken got away and somehow they said Ford still had control, but it never should’ve gotten to that point. Piss poor officiating both ways.
  15. yeah my jaw hit the floor lol. it stressed me out and i don’t even have a dog in the fight
  16. just kidding. track now says Brenot won. seems they made a mistake.
  17. Aiden Thompson pinned Aiden Brenot….biggest upset of the tournament. Not sure i see anything bigger happening
  18. And last but not least, good luck to every single wrestler competing. May we get an injury free tournament full of good, exciting wrestling! And may the best men (and women) win!
