Hatchet job by the football Coach! Coach Anderson is a great man!

I think it will be interesting to see who shows up at the school to play next year with all of the hoopla. Word is they already have a 6'5 kid coming from Dickson. That's too bad for the kids that have grown up in the church with dreams of playing for the high school. Nobody cares about them! It's all about the gold balls and stroking egos!

If kids receive financial aid to attend a school like say .....MBA, and they transfer to say.........CPA, how do they come up with the money that can no longer be used from financial aid to pay for tuition, books, uniforms?

Wouldn't a private school like CPA have a uniform philosophy about "attracting" student athletes? I mean, wouldnt the entire athletic department want to follow the path of the boys basketball team if it leads to such great success?

Don't private schools resemble professional big market sports teams? They both have the resources to go after the best players! The difference is small market professional sports teams are unwilling to up the anti for better players. The public schools are unable to up the anti for the best players.

Would all of the CPA issues subside if they were in the division 2 league? Why don't they go to D2? They wouldn't have to go to the south of Davidson County for their district games? They could stay close to home and play their old rivals. The public schools would probably ignore them just like the do with the rest. The coachT boards would probably be quiet then.

They didn't lose a lot from last year?

I would see the benefit for the defense in working on their coverage. I think that is a true asset. I would wonder about the run dominant teams that only do it for the sake of peer pressure. What do you think the percentage of teams are now that run the ball an overwhelming majority of the time?

Is there any real correlation between passing league success and regular season success? I just wonder when I see running teams that rarely pass, compete in this activity.

Is the lack of quality depth a reflection of the typical CPA student/athlete? If so, does that speak volumes as to why the team is criticized for recruiting these high profile players?

Could it be a lack of confidence the coach is showing in the remaining members of his team? Those players should be able to compete with those other teams, probably not win the tournament. Maybe not bring all the accolades to the coach for competing and not winning. Are they getting the player from Charlotte? He should help offset the loss of Lindsey, shouldn't it?

Was Lindsey's award before or after his "suspension"?

I am bored. I see you are from Chatanooga so I will say it this way. It use to be a TACA sponsored event in which players across the entire state of Tennessee were selected to play not just the southeast corner of the state. I am just wondering why and when it changed.

Great reply, NOT! If you want to have an all star team great. Just don't misrepresent the team as the best Tennessee has to offer. I'm not taking anything away from those that played in the game. The GA/TN all star game used to have players from across the state and the games were great! Now it just doesn't have the same punch that it once did.

It makes sense when they defer to all of the other federation rules!

Why is it called the "Tennessee" All Star team? It is not a Tennessee All Star team. It is a Chattanooga area all star team. It used to be a lot different!

So he is widely considered as a top 20 prospect in his class in the country but the elite programs are not interested in him????

After reading the Tennessean this morning I wonder if Lindsey was ever asked about the upcoming CPA schedule directly. I know he said he needed to play against better players but I thought that was the purpose of their schedule by playing Findlay Prep and others. I would of liked to hear a direct response to that question.

That is a good question. Do the principals make the sole decission for hiring a coach? If so, is that fair for a principal to hire a coach for an upcoming school year with the possibility that principal may no longer be there? Didn't that happen at Antioch?

What has happened with this school? They used to win at everything? Is it a change in philosophy? Are they not getting the same type of kids they once were? Have they had that big of a turnover in their coaching staffs?
