one "A" private has a volunteer coach whose daughter has graduated. No pay, he just loves the game. the same school also has parent volunter coaches for boys and girls soccer. all three of these teams are very successful. so its not always the best staff, training, and equipment that make a successful program

a deputy called for backup, my guess is he knows trouble when he sees it ....takedowns in the box usually equal pk.....and the keep caused one of those after he misplayed the ball. the guy is 6'5", a linebacker, and can play, and ccs couldn't handle him. yes, he took out the keep, but if he had been there one second earlier, it would have been ca up 3-2 in ot on a beautiful header...

surprising score.....zion was the weakest team i've seen make it to sectionals from the mid state in a while

ca falls at the end of 2nd ot when the ball rolls up sweepers leg and gets a hand ball call in the box with about 4 mins left. late header by ccs makes it 4-2. early ca pk hits the bar, ccs scores a breakaway to lead 1-0 at half. ca ties on a pk after a tackle in the box. then ties again with a pk late in regulation when keeper fumbles while out of his box and gets called for pushing trying to recover. lovely ccs parents so irate the lone sheriff deputy calls for backup, funny how they quieted down with the uniforms behind them.....good game on the field. ca controlled possession and handed out a lot of pain (keep and 14 spent a lot of time on their backs) but didn't get the scores

was gc overconfident, weenee?? you blew a great chance to travel to chattanooga to get skinned.... will eagles have anything left for the dawgs?

weenee, williamson county shut out of the district is all good, and assuming gc is still in, the eagles may have opened the door for you to get into sectionals. be grateful...... also, do prep schools do soccer for homeless stars??

CA 2 Page ZERO, ca controls game after first 10 mins, missing on many scoring ops. pats go out with class, earning a red and a couple of yellows in the last five minutes, while ca moves on. good job dawgs

I don't think you can personally guarantee anything if you were not in the position. You said you would not have stormed the court UNLESS Tyler had made the shot at the end or regulation. You proved my point right there. If GC had won in regulation or not you would have stormed the court. It was a very exciting game and both teams should have been proud.

I think that if Columbia had taunted GC's players the whole game and GC had won, their fans would have stormed the court and Columbia probably would have gotten flicked off by a few players. It was a big game and both teams really wanted to pull off a win. I know some Columbia people got flicked off by some GC fans outside. And finally, it is a rolemodel not romodel. These players are still in high school and they are just like any other student, they just happen to be good at basketball. They were just very happy to win and i don't think they were immature. Columbia respects GC's team very much and it was just the fans who made them angry.

Well all you did was taunt Columbia's players all night long. You yelled "Who's your daddy" to Clint, called Justen "Mr. Clean", yelled "Where's your sleeve" to Alston, and yelled "Where's Wadale." I think we found out who the daddy was (nope it sure wasn't Tyler) and next year Columbia's student section can yell "Where's Tyler now" and see how GC likes that.
