You talk about fans hyping up a team all I read earlier on here was how no one can tackle #1. And how people run from him when he hits the hole. And how strong y'all's team is.

I full understand that this game will come down to who can make the stops on defense. If MC can grind it out and limit our possessions and we can't get the offense going we are in trouble. I also think if we can get the MC offense off the field and can get our offense going and get up by two to three scores MC is in trouble.

Speed and quickness can cause poor tackling. Its hard to hit a moving target.

Just ask the TCA, Adamsville and Huntingdon fans about our speed. No disrespect to those teams. They are quality programs.

The fans of every team we have played have been surprised by our speed. They all said they knew we were fast but not that fast.

It was not Peabody broadcasters. And they don't have a lot a size just speed. I'm sure not all the times are spot on but that does show that we have speed. I'm sure the times are not off by that much. I can assure you that you haven't seen a 2A team this year with our overall team speed.

I'm going by what was said on the broadcast of the Aville game.

Our QB runs a 4.4 and has a cannon.

We lost to Union City and Milan. We fumbled our way out of the UC game and had an off night against Milan. UC would beat any team in 2A and Milan is 3A.

Someone wanted to know what other players we have besides #7. We have a rb #8 that runs around a 4.5 a wideout #89 that runs a 4.4 another wideout #5 runs a 4.5 wideout #4 runs a 4.5 a defensive back and kick returner #23 runs 4.4 or 4.5 we also have a few d-linemen that are nightmares to block. And a kicker with a good strong leg

You might not want to run to his side a lot he's a good defender that's not afraid to hit or take a hit. Our linebackers are hard to block because they are smaller faster athletic backers. Aville and Huntingdon both hard trouble blocking them on the outside.

I think running up the middle will be a stalemate for both teams. It'll probably come down to who can keep containment outside and if we can get the passing game rolling.

Huntingdon Will be 1A and playing in middle tn region.

I understand that trash talking is part of the game. I don't mind that. Now as far as my comments on the late hit and taunting of our sidelines I was looking at it from a coaches perspective. The player gave up an extra 15 yards cause of a poor decision. You pull him to teach him to go hard but be controlled. Now the the player that taunted could have caused a second unsportsmanlike penalty and needed to know not to does senseless things to hurt the team. They were playing with passion and fire and that's great but they need to not let it get the better of them. I have nothing but respect for Aville. I know where they came from and they have every right to be proud and excited about their program. I meant no disrespect towards the players or program.

The player that suplexed our qb after the whistle shouldn't have been ejected. It was the right call to flag him but he also should have been flagged for taunting of sideline afterwards. The Aville coach should've pulled him for a series to teach him not to act like that. I have never understood celebrating after making a big hit on D on a play were you gave up a long gain and got flagged for the hit being after the whistle.

Seems like #7 was unstoppable playing tackle Friday night. We won by eleven yet if we played Aville again we would lose? Not following that thinking. And your thought of if Aville doesn't fumble the outcome would be different ignores the fact that a key part of the game is not turning it over or forcing others to turn it over. There are if 's in any game that's part of it.

We only played one private school and they don't recruit.

You're right we play in a run down dump of a stadium and workout in a utility shed. We can't afford weights so we just chop wood that we use to heat the school. You do realize we have a stadium that is only 4 years old and a field house that is less than 10 years old filled with $40,000 worth of equipment that was bought 2 years ago. I think we have pretty good facilities and resources but hey I could be wrong.

If UC moved up y'all would just start complaining that Peabody should move up too. Then it would be Dresden should move up. Where does it end?

No doubt we had to earn our way to state. Played some tough games.
