Oh Blame it on the refs lol. Most of them were penalties. I haven’t heard anyone say oh man let’s go watch this kid play at Fayetteville because he don’t have the ball enough in his hands for that. Got in the red zone 8 times and didn’t score due to crappy play calling. So I’m not sure what game you was watching. They scored on a 3rd & 30 for game winner. Could and should have won both games but horrendous play calling. He is built different, but you must not watch the tape he takes 3 plays off to every 5 plays.

I’m taking Ben Franklin over Thomison kid 10 out of 10 times. The Thomison kid plays to lazy a majority of the time taking plays off. I think he is good when he plays but very inconsistent. Cornersville had City beat last year as well, should have won by 2 TDs also played Makenzie well in the second round just couldn’t keep the defense off the field so we got the “Jimmy and joes”.

Let’s be honest the Taylor kid , is not going to play running back in college. He ran a 4.3 at some camp and got offers. I see him playing slot or going as a athlete. and Again, he is the second best player on their team.

I agree. Cornersville’s team in 2018 was the best team in the state, but had to travel to Huntington and Lake County the 2 previous weeks. The west usually plays 2-3 legit teams before the state Championship and the East plays 1.

You will see, this group coming up only lost 1 game when they was the together. The best running back in single A is in Cornersville. Also, return Defense of player of the year in the region. Have a 6’7 300lb sophomore tackle that’s playing as well.

Cornersville will represent the west this year. The whole town already has hotels booked in Chattnooga as well.
