I remember when the 2013 season started we were looking to 2014 to be the better season and hoping to finish the first four games of 2013 2-2. Having #47 back on defense, who lead in tackles and fumble recoveries along with our corners and returning a large part of the d-line will prove the 2014 defense will be a dominant force against any team we play. On offense, with a returning backfield, other than the qb, and an o-line the saw a lot of play time, we should be very strong. If we could win the 2013 championship with a team that was simply all heart and a drive that no one could stop, we should prove better in 2014.

Don't forget sophomore #47 Beasley who lead the defense in tackles and fumble recoveries this year.

You could be correct that is why I was referring to which HC team shows up. My gut ssys less than 7, but I want to believe it could be more. It is highly possible for it to come down to the 4th quarter. If that is the case I would think HC would benefit.

I have thought all along this would be a close game, like 2011 with both teams being less than 20 on the board and the difference being a field goal withthe W going eighter way. That was until last Friday night. HC going to Northeast was probably the best thing that could have happened to them. It was the first time all year they played with aggression and attitude. If that team shows up this Friday there is a good chance it could be a 2 to 3 touchdown difference.

I will be getting there early and headed straight to the home side and start setting up for HC fans to make this a "home" game. We need red to completely surround the field Friday night.

I would have to agree with daftriot12 about the fans. We saw HC make several big plays against Northeast when the fans made some noise. Last week at West Creek we had the numbers but they were quite. We know the boys are capable and we have one of the best coaching staffs in the state. Now we just need the fans of the Northeast game to show up Friday night and pump the boys up. I believe whoever wins state this year will be by the team the makes the biggest plays.

I believe HC is ready to come out and play some football. They will practice hard this week and will be ready to take care of business this Friday night. I truly believe from this point on that wins will be determined not by which team shows up to play like many fans have said but which group of fans show up to support them. Will it be the fans of the Northeast game or the West Creek game. We know our team can do it, but can the fans?

HC should win this one, but I think after the Rossview game HC learned to take no one for granted. If they have the practice they should this week and come prepared I am predicting 56-7.
