The last time the U and SM played was in 2010 at SM, beating Upperman 53-8. This year I expect the team to return the favor. 56-7 upperman. ðŸ˜

ETSU actually did okay in the first half. KSU, although they did mostly of freshmen and sophomores, had a lot of JuCo transfers. ETSU had 2 I believe and consisted of pretty much all freshmen who have never played college ball before. The offense moved the ball but they just couldn't get in the endzone. The defense however couldn't make tackles.

As long as the U doesn't have a ton of absolutely stupid penalties like against Monterey, they should come out on top. I expect both teams to come out ready to play, and TC is definitely no slouch. Should be a good game.

I have no idea who's on the TC squad but I've gotta pull for the U. after last week the kids will probably have to do some punishment running for all those penalties, and they'll come out focused and ready to get another win.

13-7 UHS final. Wasn't pretty but I'll take it. Penalties killed so many offensive drives. And I wasn't wrong in saying MHS wouldn't score more than once

According to the H-C, Monterey is on a 4 game losing streak since 2010. The series is led by the U 38-34-1.

I'm putting my money on LA. If they're better than the U as they say they are, and can slow Vic down, it should either be close or LA comes out with a W. I'm not putting much faith into CHS but it's always helpful to have that underdog mentality going into a game.

It was 20-0 with about 30 sec left in the half. Starting MLB was hurt just before that, and after cookeville's RB started slipping through the D like water through a sewer grate. Ended up being 34-26 CHS

Interesting. I'm curious as to how he's gonna run the offense this next year.And hopefully Herron changes up those cards so it's not blaringly obvious what plays are gonna be ran.

One reason butler reached 2500 career yds was the o line in front of him in 2013. He isn't particularly fast, strong, or agile but I have noticed that he's improving, so he should still do well in the backfield. I think our strongest area is in the receiver corps. Guffey is a playmaker and Kennedy has the athleticism to beat a lot of secondary. O line is probably a big question though. Withers will be returning, and I'd like to see frank at center but I doubt he's in shape enough to play both ways effectively. I have little idea about Stanton. He seems like a better pocket passer than read option like Phillips or York. I haven't seen enough to indicate any different but hopefully he can improve too. I'm still curious on how Herron will run the offense. It should be an interesting year, nonetheless.
