True dat....no BS in TC...we do it our way...homegrown with the largest "harts" in Hartsville....the privates are envious.... Harper, Blackwell,Claiborne,Burnley,Linville,Gregory, Ellis, Oldham,Seay, Kelley...all names been around TC since the 60's....ONLY TRUE PROGRAM IN THE STATE...yea Alcoa, Maryville, SP are common names but one must remember...Trousdale County has a population of 7870...vs. MARYVILLE/ALCOA/Blount County= 123010, vs Mary Ann = 28237......Looks like TC is hands down the MVP of homegrown talent...what about it people?

I honestly wished Boyd would have beaten Mary Ann and TCA would have beaten Aville...just so TC could have made all the privates bow down,,, ....TC's school system as a whole(Academics,Athletics,Attitude)...top notch...proud to be a graduate.

Like someone else said earlier...TC played a B game, definitely not like the Gallatin,GCA,Marion,uFCa games...Adamsville got all the bounces and still lost....think about that.

These boys hit the weights hard in the off season not satisfied with last years results and Coach Jackson rode that sled for miles this spring...telling these boys that our line was NOT gonna be the reason we lost this season...and although i feel he is a little bit too hard on the JBMS boys at times...the High School boys seemed to have responded well to his toughness...a BIG congratulations to all the TC coaches this year....Most Well Prepared Staff in The State Award, and hardest working.

Like someone said earlier...TC's defensive line were the Purple People Eaters this season....4,52,74,50,65,9,60,40 all played at very high level this season, and managed to stay healthy...my hats off to these big uglies, although 5,11,3 gets the accolades, these guys get it done!! Go Jackets!!
