AC is young, but is normally very well coached and hard nosed. Greenville Is normally a very good football team and has a very good line. I think AC will find creative ways to move the ball and will score a few TD's but will not be able to Capitalize on all their drives but may hit 2 FG's with a veteran kicker. In the end Greenville will use its big line to control the front and the Mavs will come up short in a hard faught game..I hope I am wrong, but I think Greenville takes this one in the end: AC: 20 Greenville: 21

SS I have been working a lot and doing the family thing, but thought it was about that time of the year again lol...I think this should be a great year for Oak Ridge, anything short of a semi-final appearance I think wod be disappointing and I think you have a shot for it all this season. As for my Mave I think with all they lost and the depth issues from last season they are going to struggle this season, I look for them to be right around a .500 team this year, but hey, you never know.

Going to go ahead and put it out there for my prediction for AC for 2015...I hope they prove me wrong but I think this is going to be a down year for the Mavs, they will be Young and rebuilding. I am optimistic that they will compete in a lot of their games but here is my prediction: Greenville:L (Nail Biter) Heritage: W Fulton: L Clinton: W (very close) Oak Ridge: L Union Co.: W Catholic: L Central: W (toss up) Morristown East: L Carter: W 5-5 - squeak into playoffs and finish 5-6 I think this years AC team could do as good as 7-3 or as bad as 3-7...so a 5-5 season is where I think they end up

Oak Ridge I think is goint to be very, very good this season. I think I would take Oak Ridge in this one by a score of around 42-14

Its really difficult to determin this because when you get to the playoffs east plays east and west plays west till the finals, so to say the east is stronger up top but the west is stronger overall is just too hard to determin in my opinion, for example Fulton, West and Maryville win state titles with Fulton winnin 3 in a row and Maryville being Maryville and West being a contender consistantly as of late, hard to say the rest of the east isnt as goo as te west because these teams are always in the final rounds of te playoffs and win championships, i could see it if when they get to the finals they lose, but when they win it all maybe the reason you think the east is not as deep is simply because the teams winning state have beaten them, just like tey do the teams from the west

I agree that West would have won that game reguardless of te weather, the better team won, but what in the worl is the comment sayin that Hillsboro is aweful? I mean good greif give credit to your team on a great year and their team as well, they were 14-0 coming in and were playing in te 5A State Championship in which they lost to a better team, does not make them Awful, because if you consider tem Awful than what does that say about your team? I mean think about it, they led you at one point 6-0 after you had the ball a few times and it was a 1 score game at te half, not a very bright or thought out comment that makes you look just plain stupid. West would have won this game 9 out of 10 times in any weather condition but it is because West was a solid team this year deserving of the win, not because the compition was not up to par. Congrats once again to Merritt and WH4L as they are the type of fans that deserve wins like this and I always enjoy sharing te boards with the likes of good fans, Also congrats on a good Hillsboro team on a good season as well

Ha, so you are questioning why AC would want to schedule a team that over the last 5 years has gone 60-9 (14-3 in post season) and won 2 state titles over playing CC? Maybe you should ask yourself that same question and throw out the money factor. AC is now having to compete with the likes of Fulton and Catholic In their district so they picked up non district games with teams that will help them get better over the coarse of the year, I am sorry you are sour about that but it is what it is, maybe we would have lost, I don't know, but then again all I heard going into this season was how we were going to get beat because AC was down and CC was up and how exactly did that work out? Like I said before, maybe CC just isn't as relevant as they like to think, I mean 2 of the non district opponents we picked up have a 5 year combined record of 107-25 and a playoff record of 22-8, I am sure there may be many reasons that AC did not play CC but I can assure you being afraid of losing to them was not it

Maybe Campbell County just isnt as relevant as they would like to make out to be, I find it funny that a team that has continually lost to AC and just had back to back seasons where they had their best teams in school history but still couldnt find a way to beat the Mavs in either o those seasons and will be rebuilding this upcoming season as they have lost 80% of their fire power off of those teams still seems to think that AC is dodging them. The schedule that AC will be playing this upcoming season has at least 4 teams on it that will be tougher opponents than what CC has been the past 2 years, AC continually schedules teams that are very good an has for years to try to get better, maybe they just didnt think CC falls in that catagory. Now over the pas few seasons I have been one of the few AC fans that has not only thought this stupid little pissing contest between CC and AC is childish, but I have also expressed that I support CC and am glad they have gotten better, but the claims that AC is for some reason avoiding them is just plain stupid, why in the world would a team that continually plays and schedules state contenders be afraid of CC? Just putting yourself on a pedestal and to me that is pretty crazy when you are 0-ever vs the Mavs in the Gillum/Price erra and just came off a season where AC not only beat CC, but whipped them pretty good in the second half to finish a 28-0 run

Yea, but if AC can work on building depth and can stay healthy it should prepare us for the post season, maybe not for the immidiate future but in another year or two you never know what kind of a program you will be after enduring that kind of competition if you are able to do it and be competitive you could really strengthen the core of your team.

The pass interferance was actually a really good call, I thought it was horrible to start than on the teplay u could see Bruce clearly hit the safety while ball was in the air

Wow, if thats true that is a gauntlet of good teams, if you can build depth and come out of the season healthy that should prepare us for the post season, I hope tere is truth to that. Then add a Carter team that could be pretty good and your crosstown rival in Clinton that is making for a real good schedule
