  1. Well I can't provide any details because I wasn't there. Haven't even read a write up on the game. Just a semi educated / lucky guess.
  2. First place is never a lock until the math proves it. Teams in this district are too well coached to be "automatic" wins / losses.
  3. I've not seen Bradley- but after watching this game last year, I say the Owls have to fight out a 10 point win.
  4. Blue Raiders by 7. Too many turnovers for me to pick the Canes.
  5. I didn't get to make the trip, but I've heard nothing but top notch comments about DB players, coaches, and fans. Good luck!
  6. I remember last year a lot of talk was about how many sophomores were starting on defense. If that was truth, then you'll see a great bit back next year, as well.
  7. Who are the Bears' weapons this year? What kind of defense do they run?
  8. Agreed. Both teams get better for playoff runs. Wish I could see it in person. Can anyone post updates on here?
  9. I just saw this- #4 and #2 are worth watching in the WR corps. QB is shifty. The defense has big play capabilities from all 3 levels. #11, 7, 5, 21 are notable guys. Just a high effort, big play / hitting team.
  10. The defense scored twice. No other turnover (7 total) resulted in immediate scoring position for the Owls- the offense still had to move the ball to score. The offense produced 27 points-- 3 TDs and 2 FGs. It sounds like your coaching show is trying to undercut the Owls' offense with false info. I'll say it again: We are a solid football team that'll test you in all 3 phases of the game. I expect the same test back. Y'all would rather argue with Extremists than talk real factors with the regular Owl fans.
  11. Your coaching show is wrong. Doesn't bode well for your attention to detail.
  12. Bigs? Have you seen Ooltewah? East Hamilton had us outweighed by 50+ pounds on the lines. We don't out girth anyone, for sure.
  13. Most likely, we are better than you think we are, but not as good as Goose claims. Is it Friday yet?
  14. As long as both teams stay healthy, both will be better off for having played. I say Owls 17-13. DB is a top ten 6A team for a reason.
  15. Thanks for the response, Cane. I really hope y'all rally. It really was a class act atmosphere Friday.
  16. The Owls have a lot of defensive speed from all 11 positions on the field. The offense is good at what it does-- particularly throwing the ball. Quality depth everywhere. Good kicking game. Our schedule is what it is. I think the Owls and the Indians have made their competition look much worse than they really are. Both teams will test each other and that's what matters.
  17. Not quite sure what to make of what I saw out of East Hamilton last night-- lost, dejected, and nearly apathetic.
  18. Tyner's schedule and youth is what is happening. They'll be a tough game for most...
  19. Fair enough. Good coaching staffs always search and experiments for answers they don't yet have. I hope they find the winning combo... Next week haha
  20. Are the Trojans healthy? They can't afford to be missing anyone and the Owls seemed to really beat them down
  21. I remember hearing that the best players for EH don't play a lot of offense-- has that changed Cane? Does EH still use pro sets and power running or is it spread fun-n-gun like late last year? Guys with daughters and no Huddle film accounts don't "know" a lot.
  22. Y'all have me rolling-- so glad to be involved in this fan base! No sarcasm
  23. I have no qualms with anything said thus far. I'll just say that Ooltewah has had a lot to do with how bad the "bad" teams have looked. From my eye, we are where we want to be for this part of the schedule. Hope both teams are healthy and come out healthy.
